Mortal Instruments vs. Twilight
true, I think the thing is how much Sci-fi varies
there are lots of different thing s in sci-fi's. they can be lots of different things. Like futuristic, space theme, stuff like that....
I think they are really cool because everyone has a different view
yea. i used to think that they were only aliens and stuff but then i opened up after i read "The Shadow Children Series" (my favorite series when i was younger) b/c i found out that it was Sci-Fi b/c it was set in the future.
Yea, That series was weird for me, mostly because I thought there were too many books and I couldn't keep track of which book came next and so I ended up reading the first few and then I stopped.

in know but i want to know why they like it...i don't understand, it had no plot crappy romance, crappy characters, lots of plot holes.
i don't get why they like it. At All...
the reason i read twilight was because my best friend really liked it and wanted to see the movie, so i decided to read it since she was going to watch the movie with me. this is what i thought about it when i read them:
Twilight-i liked the idea of the vampires, since it was the first book i read about vampires. i also liked how Edward was so mysterious.
New Moon- i really liked it, it was my favorite out of the series, because of the whole broken hearted thing (i had just went through one myself, and i think the only thing that Stephenie did well throughout the whole twilight series was the way she described Bella's heartbreak, i mean she can't really write, no offence) i did not however liked how Edward was going to kill himself at the end, i was like are you kidding me?!! man up and stop being a drama queen, you're suppose to be a 100 year old vampire for crying out loud. (that's when i lost my interest in Edward)
i think it was a really bad imitation of Romeo&Juliet
Eclipse- WOW don't get me started, i HATED this book. i absolutely hated Bella even more than before (i didn't know it was possible) in this book. jacob pissed me off to the max!! he wasn't the way he used to be when i liked him back when he wasn't a werewolf.
Breaking Dawn- is the worst book written in the history of mankind. the only interesting part was the part that was written by jacob's point of view. i mean the book had two different plots with two "climaxes". i wouldn't even call it the climax of the book. and the ending was so bad that i wanted rip the pages out of the book.

i dont like books with no plots because non of these books had any real plots and Stephanie Meyer can't write... i hated Bella the whole time she was so annoying, Edward was a creep. (he watched her sleep and snuck in to her room at night... honestly.) and hime killing himself was stupid, beyond stupid, and the whole concept of Vampires sparkling was a HUGE turn off for me... Vampire DO NOT EVER sparkle, they burn when they're in the sun. And if she didn't want them to burn she could've come up with something less gay (no offence to gay people) but men who sparkle are usually considered gay...the whole series was just horrible...
you don't get why some people love twilight?! i however don't understand how some people are so in love with the HoN series? i admit i only read the first one and six chapters of the second one cause i was going to give the author another chance, but it really doesn't grab me at all, it's just not good. i'm wondering if it gets better or just stays the same? cause if it doesn't improve i'm not gonna bother with them.
i haven't read that...ive seen it but it just never caught my interest...

OMG i took you're quiz and was going through the comments when i read the link you had posted about Meyer!!!!!! i can't believe her, i knew i didn't like her before (cause it really seemed like she wrote a book about herself, except in her book everyone's in love with her. i'm guessing she didn't get enough attention from people around her while growing up) but now i absolutely hate her as an author. what is wrong with her?!! she dissed one of my absolute favorite love stories and male characters (Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables) i'm fuming right now!!!

Alright, so everyone makes a good point. You shouldn't have to choose when it comes to reading because you get a little out of every book you read & the experience is much different every time. I love generally all of the books I've read with a few exceptions of course. Not all works are as entertaining as another.Anyway... hahah

Yeah.. And I've notice a lot of Taylor Launter lines in New Moon are cheesy. As for instance, "Things are going to get very ugly.."

I think that they spent more time brainstorming all the possible reasons he could have his shirt off for.
at least it's better seeing him without his shirt than Robert Pattinson

i used to really like twilight but now it kinda annoys me. i still love jasper but yeah. i don't have a favourite book series coz theres to many but here are some of my favourites (not it any order). mortal instruments, vampire academy, house of night, wicked lovely, vampire beqach, dark visions, night world, vampire diaries, twilight, strange angels, the immortals, evernight, blue bloods, vampires assisstant...and so on (sorry theres so many)

I don't know. I think they can't get over how mean he was to Clary through out most of the first book.
i hate how everyone loves Clary and Jace so much, it gets to the point where they just hate everyone that gets in between their relationship, why don't people realize that those people made their relationship better and more dramatic.

Mortal Instruments beats Twilight. Mortal Instruments beats every other book series I have read!
Jace and Simon are my favorite characters but I love them all. Especially Sebastian, you gotta love to hate him!!

The Mortal Instruments win hands down of course! Stephenie Meyer's a very vague writer in my opinion.
