"So, where do we go from here?"
((I've been in many... on here at least... hmm, usually they get to know eachother, get together, begin the kissing and walking-hand-in-hand thing on the beach thing, something crazy happens, they confess love... then they either live happily evah after OR die of course :D))
((alrighty))
Aurora was still blushing slightly, but for some reason she changed the subject. "So... whats your home like?"

"NOt good, first off, my dad is a King and he doesn't know that I'm lesbian. He expects me to marry a handsome prince and live happily ever after." she sticks her tongue out and does a 'gag' with her finger

"That sucks. Is he one of those mega-snobs?"

((DEL-AN-EEEEE!!!))
Jack nodded. "For all I know I'm a month old..." he muttered sadly then cleared his throat. "Maybe I could help you... you know find out what you are and all that."

((haiii!))
"We'll help each other," Dove said, smiling serenely. "Where shall we start?"

Jahlia wrote: "Michael shook his head, grinning mischeviously. "Nothing.""Arianne narrowed her eyes," What ever."
"Hmm... we could start with pin-pointing our species?" He pulled a pen and paper out of his pocket and looked up her. "What are some of your abilities?"
"Weeell, I can talk to animals and control the elements, for starters," she said with a slight smile.
Le Vanster wrote: ""That sucks. Is he one of those mega-snobs?"""he's a King of an entire forest! what can you expect?" she laughed solemnly.
Jack scribbled them down and looked back up. "Does anything happen when you use them?"
Aurora smiled.
Aurora smiled.
"Um, I kind of glow. And I can also make people feel calm," she added.
Jack added those as well and sat back, smiling. "I guess I should tell about myself too, yes? Well there isnt much to tell..."
"I'm sure there is," she said with a soft smile. "Start wherever you're comfortable."
Jack sat back and sighed. "You see, I dont even know my own name. Jack Quin was just something I made up. I could have had a family. I could be a dictator or a saint. But all I remember of my life was a month ago. Waking up in a field of withered things. With these strange, ugly cuts all over me." He said, pulling down his sleeve to expose his arm, stitched in multiple places. "I was scared, not knowing how to even talk. Forgotten of course. I ran blindly on fear for about a week. Ended up in a hospital..."
Dove gasped softly and ran her hands over the scars, barely touching them. "Jack that's terrible," she said empathetically, her eyes tearing up for him a bit. She bit her lip and looked at him. "I can heal these, you know," she said, watching for his reaction.
Jack stared, mentally adding healing to her list of her abilities. He stook out his hand. "You can try... but they're all over." He curled his fingers and continued. "Anyway. The hospital kept demanding to know who I am, and they suspected I did this to myself since I wouldn't, couldn't, speak. I stayed there a few nights, but then I started seeing other patients dreams, their future, memories. It was rather depressing really, since most of their outcomes were grim... So I figured I was different and ran away. Found this place and, well, here I am."
Dove nodded, taking in the rest of his story. "I'm going to try and heal them okay?" she said softly. She took his arm and closed her eyes, drawing all four elements, plus spirit. She felt herself start to glow, and then let the glow slide over his arm and smooth out the jagged scars. She cracked open one eyes, waiting for the glow to fade so she could see if it really worked.
Jack lifted his pant leg and checked the bandages, no longer bloody. He quirked a brow. "It worked."

"What about your life, Aurora?"

"Thought it would," she smiled, but felt somewhat faint. She blinked rapidly and then smiled again, feeling better.

Jack smiled, "I've never se- you okay?" he said, catching her look.
"I pretty much lived my days up north." she said.

"Guide spirits to the Other world"

Dove blinked again, trying to clear out the fuzzies. "What? Yeah, I'm great!" she said.

"I like to sing, swim, and I've been trying to learn a little archery."
Jack watched her skeptically. "You sure?"
"suuure..." Dove slurred the word slightly and gripped the armrests of the chair to keep from falling forward. She slumped back in the chair, her energy drained.
Jack jumped out of his chair and leaned over the table, practically laying on it. He shook her shoulder and cursed.
Dove felt exhausted. She managed to wave a hand at him. "I'm..fine.." she said, unable to keep her eyes open.
Jack made a strained face and felt a sudden feeling of what to do. He scrambled off the table and ran to the healing section. He grabbed specific books, opening a few, looking for what was happening and how to fix it. He understood then, about how healers drain themselves for others and that all they needed was sleep... Well, this wasn't necessary, all the panic and such- wait, sleep? His head slowly turned to her to her, frowning, he collapsed and entered her dreams.
Dove was walking through a sunny field, the rays shining down on her and warming her. She smiled up. Suddenly, everything turned gray. Dove screamed, but there were thorns all around her and she couldn't move. She choked back a sob and cried for help.
Jack entered and everything became gray... like the field, he noted. Hearing Dove screaming for help, he ran over. He easily pulled the bush back, ignoring them sinking into his flesh. "Dove... thats your name. Isn't it?"
Dove nodded, "It is.. Jack?" she asked, reaching out to him.
Jack wiped the blood on his pants and pulled her up carefully. "Yes, you okay?"
"I'm okay," she said shakily. "Can we go? I don't like it here," she shivered.
"You're the dreamer. If you don't like it here, then you can change it. You're dreaming lucidly now, you can do whatever you want." Jack said, gesturing around.
((lol, she strips him naked and he makes a face like :O))

((lmao, you would think of that Vans :p))
"Ohh.." Dove closed her eyes and imagined the field happy again, but she was tired. She didn't want to dream, she wanted to sleep.. rest. She fell into blackness, her body thinking her for the chance to restore itself.

((mmm hmm, because Im like that :P))
The dream around Jack turned black and he didn't know what to do. Let her rest. the reasonable voice in his head said. He nodded to no one and fought to get out of the dream. The library came into view.

Dove lay peacefully in the chair, recovering from using too much power.

Jack sat up and opened his palms. They were bloody with puncture wounds. He sighed and sat back at the table, flipping open the wounds book, waiting for Dave to wake.
