((It's okay :) ))Greg looked up at the girl before nodding, "Kind of."
"All kinds of magic that exists in the world." Greg replied before taking a seat
"Cool," Adelaide said. "What's your name?"
"Greg." He said as his eyes scanned the page.
"I'm Adelaide," she said. She then took a deep breath. "Am I bothering you 'cause you're reading a book and it sounds really good and I don't want to bother you so if I am just let me know and I'm using a run-on sentence but tell me if I am because I don't want to disturb you." She let the rest of her breath out.
Greg looked up to her and smiled slightly, "No. You are not disturbing me. You can talk as much as you want."
Adelaide smiled, feeling slightly embarrassed but grateful. "So how long have you been here?"
"About few months." He replied with a shrug
Adelaide nodded. "If you don't mind my asking, what are you?"
She nodded again, taking in the information.
"I can pretty much change into a wolf at will," she explained.
"Oh, that creature." Greg nodded. Damn, he needed to study more.
Adelaide smiled at him. "So. You, as a wizard, can do... wizard things... but what about the demon part? Excuse me for asking."
"I can be demon as well as I can be wizard. Two creatures in one body." He replied
"How much do you know?" Greg smiled slightly
"What do you mean?" she asked, smiling back.
"How far does your knowledge goes?" He explained
"I'm not quite sure," Adelaide admitted.
"do you know all the creatures that exist?" He arched a brow as he closed his book
"I believe I do. Probably don't, though."
"What about books?" Greg questioned her.
Adelaide hesitated, feeling a bit foolish. "I... enjoy reading them. Any genre."
She nodded eagerly. "Yeah, I love history."
"Anything else?" Greg opened his book writing down something.
"Um, not that I can think of," she said. "And what about you? Obviously, you enjoy reading. What genres?"
"Every kind that will help my family." He shrugged
"Any kind of books that will help in my family business." He explained
"I see," Adelaide said, shifting her gaze to the ground.
"It's not that I don't like them. They are annoying. For example, here is one." Greg gestured to the spot beside his chair as Dominique appeared there with a soft smile, "Hello."
Adelaide was startled by Dominique's sudden appearance, but she smiled politely. "Hi."
"What's your name?" Dominique smiled at her brightly as Greg settled back into his book.
"Dominique. Pleasure to meet you." She grinned
"Was he boring?" Dominique nodded to Greg
