She shut the book. Instead, she went off to a corner of the library where all but a few people knew it was there. She hoped she could have some time alone.
Corvuss hands clamped her thighs to his shoulders, and slowly stood up. 'Okay, let me know if you need to move anywhere.'
She looked around to make sure no one followed. She then flipped a hidden switch on the wall. A door suddenly appeared and she went inside the secret room, shutting it behind her silently.
All around her was volumes of very ancient magical books. She grabbed one off the shelf. She grabbed the stuff she needed for the ceremony out of her bag and started getting ready.
She started creating a devil summoning circle.

She poured white powder on the floor in a circle and with black chalk she started to make ancient signs at North, South, West, and East directions.
She stood and started to speak ancient words of the devil. The cirlcle started to have a redish glow.
((haha! Is anybody going to stop me?))
He took a step closer, carefully not to sway backward.
She stopped speaking for a second to pull her long sleeve (I think I spelled that wrong!) back, reavealing long scars all over her fore arm (I think also that is misspelled too!). She grabbed a long knife from her bag,and sliced across her arm. Bright drops of blood spilled inside of the circle and dissappeard through the ground.

"Honey chil' what do you think you're doing?" Alasia appeared behind Whitney, hands on her hips.
Whitney started at the sudden voice behind her, almost ruining the summoning. "How did you find me?" She sounded panicked. Still letting her blood drip and dissappear through the floor.

"None of your business..." She pulled back her arm and closed her eyes. Out of her mouth came ancient words long forgotton.

Alasia grabbed the girl, slamming her against the wall, clapping a hand over her mouth as she hissed at her, baring her feline fangs.
She struggled against her, desparation in her eyes. The red glow of the powder that made up the circle died.
He flashed her a smiled before lowering himself to the ground.

"Why are you doing this? Explain it to me, I probably know what to do."
Trying to hold back her tears, she explained, "The demon Lucious captured my little brother and the only way to get him free is to give Lucious what he wants..."

"My necklace...." She pulls out around her neck, a black amulet with a rainbow of colors swirling inside.

She pointed to the swirling colors, "These colors represent the different powers....The only drawback is that only one person can access it.....and they can't use it for themselves...It can only be used to help at least one person. The person can attack other people, but they have to be protecting someone else at the same time..."

At this question she went silent. Then with a trembling voice she whispered, "If the demon could get the person to particpate in a ceramony where they sacrifice themselves and their right to the amulet's powers, the amulet is no longer contained to only help others....which means that whoever is controlling the amulet will have the power to do anything with no drawbacks..."
