Yeah, those Greeks/Romans/Egyptians were pretty messed up. I mean who would make this up? I guess that would be Egyptess or whatever her name is.....
No I am not joking. In the Bible (or Book of Mormon I forgot) it says a family broke from the church and they had a daughter named Egyptinia or something and that's how Egypt got started. It was named after that woman Egyptenia or whatever. Forgot her name.
thats pretty kewl but who names a child a name that most people can't remeber...egyptenia??
Well, it is bible-ish times. You know, there was always weird names to us: Moses, Lehi, Nephi, etc. So, it wouldn't really be that weird to them.
i guess but moses isn't really a wierd name likee theirs this freaking awsome dude in my school that can put his legs behind his back and his name is moses he's awsome i love his wierdness!!!!1
Well, you get what I mean. There's also Ham and Moron-seriously, there's this dude named Moron. And also Noah. And Zoram.

Maybe I read in between the lines. Wasn't the main idea of the possession that the children didn't give into it. Instead, they decided to make decisions on their own behalf. Are they no different than everyday Christians who battle with their flesh (sin) in efforts to live a positive life. They fought against the possession had faith that good would overcome the bad, and defeated the enemy.
