What is the best book you read this year?

The book I'm telling everyone about this year is Material World: A Global Family Portrait, by Peter Menzel. It was photographed and written nearly 20 years ago, but the photos and intriguing information continue to endlessly fascinate me. Whenever I have a half hour to spare, I go back to it and reconnect with one of the countries.
