C.S. Splitter | 979 comments What's more fun? The show or the after party in the chat room?

Tough one.

I learn so much about people in both... :)

C.S. Splitter | 979 comments Tonight is the night! See you ALL at 9PM Eastern at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/journalj...

We're going to play "Three things", one of which is true and NONE of you are going to be able to figure it out for sure.

Join the party in the chat room while Cassie, Cambria, and Amy grill me.

Angela Smith (dandilyonfluff) | 144 comments Good luck Splitter! In the midst of our present moving chaos your interview and JournalJabber stand out in my mind as priorities;

1. Turn off all utilities.
2. Get visa info for the US sorted.
3. Listen to Splitter on JournalJabber.

That is just how awesome it all is...!

C.S. Splitter | 979 comments Thanks Phil, Angela, and everyone else who has luck wishes.

This is my fist live interview as an author so I have asked them to be gentle. Plus, I have my wolf, snake, and WalMart answers down pat!

If you've worked on those answers, the rest will be a breeze.

Like doing a barrel role -- scary going in, but a real buzz when you come out still in one piece.

message 262: by Phil (new)

Phil Cantrill | 313 comments Hey, Splitter. Glad to see you survived the torture (sorry, show). Gonna have to work on that Aussie accent though, old mate.

I have always wondered why no vampire ever had body hair...I know they were NOT shaving their backs or chests in the 1800's...

They don't eat their vegetables.

HAHAHA!!

Isn't it awful late for you to still be awake, young lady? LOL You need to be resting up for your trip! :P

It is, I guess I'm busted ;p I can't do much on the laptop, and we're basically all packed until tomorrow so I've been going thru email and being restless. I just realized I should be writing my Journalstone story... what was I thinking?!? Argh!

I don't know! You better hurry and get it to me!! LOL

I was so tired of moving I think I went braindead. Tommorrow is our last night in the flat, and then we are staying with family in the country, so I planned to finish it then. I'm embarrassed to say what I've been doing at the laptop for the last 6 hours.

(No, not porn. I am assuming that's what some of you are thinking ;p)

UUMMM....have you been researching the sexiest colors to paint a dog's nails?

Hahaha! I wasn't actually thinking of the answer. I've actually been trying to figure outr how to play Minesweeper (that weird game on everyone's computer), trying to beat my time in Solitaire and worst of all... playing Farmville. Don't tell!

I wonder what are the sexiest colors to paint a dog's nails...

message 274: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments red of course.

message 275: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Well JA i guess you have a point with the shaving and the clothes. Harumph.
Yes, why don't vamps have body hair but they have wonderful hair on their head???? hmmmmmm

And five o'clock shadows! Vampires are proof... apparently a well balanced diet doesn't make you gorgeous.

message 277: by J.A. (new)

J.A. Clement (jaclement) | 1328 comments Yes but I have severe misgivings about their diet. First, reason why they're pale is anaemia because you can't metabolise the iron in haemoglobin. And second, unless they move onto eating Black Pudding, which would spoil the image considerably, they're on an all-liquid diet... and anyone with a baby knows what happens at the other end of that....

Alas for my pragmatic mind! This is the reason I can't be impressed with vampires - because in my head, they're all wearing nappies!!

wrongwrongwrong...

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Vamps wearing nappies!!!! BAH HA HA HA HA HA
that just proves that werewolves are better. :)

Carroll- so glad you enjoyed the show!

message 279: by Cambria (new)

Cambria (cambria409) | 3305 comments Well thanks Carroll!!! We have a good time on the show. Feel free to listen anytime and stop by the chat room on Tuesday nights!

Glad you enjoyed the show, Carroll! We always have a great time on there!

You can catch another one of our CR members on the show this Tuesday! Ottilie Weber will be on Journal Jabber this next Tuesday!

message 281: by Vered (new)

Vered (vered_ehsani) "The Priest" is a great read! Seriously.

What's not great is that Goodreads isn't sending me my daily digest, and I don't know why. Anyone else have that issue?
