I loved this book and I just watched the trailer on imdb for it and I'm pretty sure they're about to murder it...

obviously, i don't like the guy who'll be playing Ian's role. i was expecting much greater, or am i just too attached to his kindness that i don't seem him as being Jake Abel? whatever! i just hope this movie will defend the book very well. :D

I like the Melanie/Wanda, Jeb, and everyone else besides Doc, Ian, Kyle, and the Seeker. I thought the characters would be much older (they look like twenty) and am I remembering wrong or was Ian and Kyle big and brunettes?

The trailer is out and have noticed they changed the entire beginning. To be expected and makes sense. Now if only I could get past the girl they cast as Melanie ;(

ugh Saoirse looks nothing like Melanie! But... well, i'd rather her not fit the look and be one hell of an actor than look like Mel and COMPLETELY ruin the movie that way (ah-kristen stewart as Bella-hem)

I just want to start off by saying that for the most part the cat is just fine. I can only see one actress who is so incredibly wrong for the role they were chosen for, Diane Kruger. The Seeker was described as a petite olive skinned women with short black hair, Diane Kruger is a tall fair skinned blond. If I could choose a better actress to play the Seeker I would suggest Noureen DeWulf she is, in my opinion, the epitome of the Seeker. Who agrees?
