So I thought I'd talk about the actual premise. :-) The fundamental idea of the setting is that rather than being washed away in the Deluge, the nephilim banded together to avert it. Since then they've had to find ways to survive against angels that want to erase them and Fallen who want to use them. The protagonist is a young woman and nephilim whose heritage has been hidden from her, as she struggles to protect two little girls with a huge destiny from those who want to unmake them before that destiny can come to pass.
The Goodreads giveaway for the book is still running, and it should be available in ebook and paperback format at most online retailers on Feb 21st.
I'm really hoping people enjoy it but I have no idea if I'll be around to announce it when it comes out, since I'm also expecting a baby at about the same time!

You wanted me to remind you when book 2 of The Grigori Legacy came out...and it has! SINS OF THE SON is available now. :)
If your offer to set up an author Q&A is still open, I would love to take you up on it! Perhaps we can discuss?
Many thanks,
Linda

Short Pitch: Lucifer wants nothing more than to wipe that smug look off God’s face and crown himself ruler of the universe.
Full Pitch: Too bad his brother, the Archangel Michael is meddling in Lucifer’s affairs by trying to stop Heaven from being overthrown. With a gun toting Jesus that is determined to vanquish Lucifer, The Order of the Dragon that intends on destroying him, Lucifer has to obliterate all those who dare to defy his will. Treachery is being conceived in the depths of Hell as some of Lucifer's closest allies plan to betray him.
Could it be Marou who suffers from guilt and regret, as he longs to be reunited with his beloved Amy? Or is it Beelzebub seeking redemption for his sins?
Deception on both sides shall strain delicate alliances devised by Lucifer and God. For every technicality, there is a loophole, and for every dead end, there is an escape. And Lucifer always has an ace up his sleeve. If Lucifer triumphs, he shall hold dominion over every living soul, reigning over a universe filled with devastation, fear, and darkness from his throne in Heaven. Should he fail, the consequences may be just as dire...

Bound by the attributes of valor and compassion, the Beloved are sent by the Father to battle demons head on in order to help those in greatest need. But as their prowess and power grows they face a new threat, their own weaknesses.
Major Daniel Parker's life changes in an instant when he comes to the aid of one his soldiers. In a flash, Major Parker transforms from a Union Officer fighting in the Civil War to a Beloved. But Daniel's thirst for power clouds his judgment leaving him damned to an eternal hell of suffering and remorse at the hands of an ancient demon. His only chance at salvation now lies with his younger brother, Jonathan.
No matter the price, Jonathan will not abandon Daniel. But does he have the strength and courage to save his brother? Can he overcome the temptations that consumed Daniel or will he become a victim as well? The scar upon his chest is the key to who he must become.
Contrasting the valiant qualities of the Beloved with the vicious intent of the demons, Rogue inextricably weaves real-life battles of the Union and Confederate armies with the mystical wars between demons and the Beloved.

I just released a new dark epic fantasy, The Tribe of Ishmael, that contains more of the fallen angel variety :) It's free on Amazon Jan. 10-14: http://www.amazon.com/The-Tribe-Ishma....

Blurb: While on the run from dangerous pursuers, a boy accidentally bounds a train bound for Hell. He teams up with a mysterious girl to recover their lost memories of their deaths and find a way to escape. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the opportunity to tell you about my books. :)
I'm the author of the four-book Rephaim series. My take on fallen angels is inspired by the account in the Book of Enoch about Semyaza and the Two Hundred, although the Rephaim series is mostly interested in their offspring, and how they deal with the consequences of their father's actions.
Claudia Gray (author of the Evernight series, Spellcaster etc.) described Shadows (Rephaim #1) as "scary, sexy and suspenseful".
Synopsis for Shadows (Rephaim #1):
It's almost a year since Gaby Winters watched her twin brother die. In the sunshine of a new town her body has healed, but her grief is raw and constant. It doesn't help that every night in her dreams she fights and kills hell-beasts. And then Rafa comes to town. Not only does he look exactly like the guy who's been appearing in Gaby's dreams, he tells her things about her brother and her life that cannot be true, things that are dangerous. Who is Rafa? Who are the Rephaim? And who is Gaby? The truth lies in the shadows of her nightmares.
Shadows (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...) is now available in the US and Canada. (It's also available in the UK, Australia and New Zealand).
Haze (Rephaim #2: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...) is also out in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and will be released in the US and Canada this year.
Shimmer (Rephaim #3)is due out UK/Aus/NZ this year, with the fourth and final being released in 2015.
(I should point out, the series has some violence and profanity, although the general tone is light. There's plenty of action, but also a romantic element - albeit an antagonistic romance.)
Thanks again,

The first is a stand alone.

The synopsis:
Rian Winson's parents take in troubled teens and offer them a home, safety and kindness. Watching each one of them stumble and fall has left her brokenhearted and a little bit jaded. In spite of that, she's come to care desperately for the latest, Sara.
She's determined to keep Sara from falling victim to the same fate, life on the streets or worse. But after meeting Jess Remiel, a beautiful stranger who seems bent on rescuing her from the dangerous world that grips her friend, Rian realizes when you try to save someone, you may only succeed in being pulled under yourself.
Will the help of this mysterious champion keep her safe? Or is he pulling her in deeper?
The second book is actually the first in a series.

The synopsis:
As a senior in high school, Samantha Heman’s too busy trying to avoid getting stomped by a moose at the bus stop and keeping her grades up until graduation to put much thought into angels or demons.
That all changes on the day she is kidnapped by notorious serial killer, Christopher Hainsely. It’s a day she finds herself confronted by both evil and good, because her savior appears in the form of an avenging angel come to strike the monster down with a single stroke of his flaming sword.
Though she’s trying to get on with her life, she cannot get the angel out of her head. It isn’t the burning wings, fiery eyes or the flaming sword that keeps her searching the internet for proof one way or another of his existence, though.
The feeling of warmth she experienced when she witnessed that sad smile just before he vanished in a wash of golden light, haunts her nights almost as often as the nightmares.
If angels exist, then demons must too, and they’re about to wage a war for her soul.

Paula, I love Shadows! I have picked up Haze, but haven't gotten the chance to read it yet, but am excited to as soon as I finish the project I'm working on!

I can't believe this group exists! I am so excited to be a part of it. I just wrote a YA Paranormal Romance novel about angels and dark angels, titled FLIGHT. It is currently available on Nook and Kindle. So far the reviews have been amazing! If you do check it out, I hope you enjoy my characters' journey as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
Here is a brief description of it (which you can also find under my author page and on Amazon/B&N):
18 year-old socialite Camille Vanderhale’s life is not going the way she had planned. Her days are normally spent attending one vapid social event to another. Ballroom galas, charity auctions at the Met and afternoon tea with New York’s elite is how she spends most of her time. The Vanderhales are American Royalty and she is the perfect gilded princess. Between her countless social obligations, and watching over her partying
16 year-old sister and best friend, Noelle, her path is clear and her destiny certain.
But Camille’s perfectly predictable life is turned upside down when she develops supernatural abilities, abilities she can’t explain. It’s a secret Camille has to keep safe, even from Noelle. All of that confusion is brought to a halt when she meets a mysterious stranger, Xavier Williams. His unusual sense of calm and tranquility stills the storm that is her life. But Xavier’s got his share of secrets too, secrets that are going to affect her in ways she never imagined possible.
Unfortunately for Camille, developing these superhuman powers isn’t her only problem. The history books she studied in school about the birth of our nation, and her family’s role in it, couldn’t have prepared her for the truth: the Vanderhales are part of a century’s old secret society consisting of America’s most prominent families, with dark intentions and even darker secrets hidden in their history.
All that Camille’s ever known, all that she’s ever believed in, has been a lie. Camille must make a choice – choose the path that has been destined for her and continue her family’s legacy, or choose the path less certain. Either decision could cost her greatly, maybe even her own life.
I look forward to meeting some of you and getting to know this group better :)
Best,
Charlene

I've written a paranormal fantasy trilogy that is centred largely around Angels and the like. The protagonist of the story is a Grim Reaper type, but encounters many Angels throughout the story. I'm writing the third part right now, and the first two parts are doing really well on Amazon UK. Here's the blurb for the first book on Amazon UK.
ONE REAPER MUST GO TO GREAT LENGTHS TO SAVE HIS NEXT VICTIM.
Darius, a human who lived as a slave until his untimely death allowed him to become a Reaper, discovers another Reaper is consuming the souls of innocent humans to gain power. In an effort to thwart this rogue and restore balance to life and death, Darius takes it upon himself to protect the next victim, Peyton Paradisa. As the rogue pursues them, wielding powers no other Reaper can, thanks to the almost infinite power of consumed souls, Darius is left no choice but to take Peyton and flee into the the afterlife. But can they find a way to stop the powerful rogue from taking Peyton's soul? And why does he want Peyton's soul so desperately? There is more to Peyton than meets the eye and there is far more at stake than just her soul.
Angel of Death:

My name is J. Edward Ritchie. My debut fantasy epic about the angel war in Heaven, Fall From Grace, was released on Amazon 4/21/15. It is a high concept, grand tale of the first war in Creation as told from the contrasting perspectives of brothers Michael and Satanail. I researched the concept of angels across multiple religions and mythologies to craft a unique story that could appeal to any reader regardless of his or her religious beliefs. Please be aware that because the story is set during a time of war, it contains harrowing moments of violence and is geared towards adult readers. But beneath the brutality of warfare is an inspirational message of family and brotherhood.
Synopsis:
Heaven: a paradise of all that is pure in Creation. Led by brothers Michael and Satanail, the Angelic Host is a testament to cosmic harmony and love. But when an unprecedented revelation threatens to uproot their peace, a schism splits the Host’s loyalties. Every angel has to make a choice: faith or freedom. Good or evil.
Salvation or damnation.
War consumes Heaven in the first and most destructive loss of life that Creation will ever know. As brother turns on brother, the fate of Heaven and Earth rests in the hands of the Creator’s chosen son, Michael. How far will he go, what will he sacrifice in the name of their Father, to protect his family?
Witness the tragic downfall of a civilization told from both sides of a bloody rebellion. More than myth, more than legend, Heaven’s war will forever stand as a harrowing warning that even the purest of souls can fall from grace.
I've received excellent responses from both the secular and faith communities. Check out my website (jedwardritchie.com) for exclusive supplementary material.

Fall From Grace

After chasing Satan back to hell, God left the Archangel, Miguel Barachiel in charge of the entire earth, and six hundred years later, the Barachiel line of succession has gotten a little... well... less than divine.
The Kingdom of Arcadia is about as close to perfect as any Utopia can hope to be under the nephilim King Elijah's rule, but there's an exception to every rule and in The Given Garden, that exception is Larkin Whittaker, the five year-old third born that is being gifted to Prince Barachiel, according to tradition, to be raised and groomed to be his Companion; or as they would have said in the time before, his concubine.
Only Larkin and Kohen won't learn that until they are thirteen.
This epic series holds nothing back. It will make you question everything; good, evil, love, hate, friendship, Heaven and Hell. Follow Larkin on her adventure as she grows from being the prince's best friend, to his true love- to the devil's advocate.
BLURB
They told us that this new world was perfect
They told us that we were all equal under the eyes of the only God
They told me that I was nothing
He told me that he would protect me
They swear that I can trust them
I don't
How can I believe in something, in a world where faith isn't optional?
The Given Garden is Book #1 in the dystopian series, The Eden Chronicles, and is set six hundred years after Armageddon, where Utopia is the goal, but chaos is the result. Larkin had no choice to be an illegal third-born child, so does that mean that she should give her life to the crown in penance? And if so, can trust that she will find a friend in Prince Kohen Barachiel, and not a Nephilim master? The kingdom is in his family's hands, her life in his, the clock is ticking until God's return, and Satan is watching, waiting for her moment to strike back against the alpha males of the royal faily.
It's angels versus demons in this post-apocalyptic fairy tale that is sentimental, sensual and exciting.

Cool, thanks for letting us know Sammy."
Thank you. :)
Quote from the sequel:
“Let me see if we're on the same page here...the thing that's been protecting you, the thing we've been looking for, turns out to be an unbelievably hot chick with powers way beyond anything we've ever heard of. She kills even more things that are trying to hurt you, offers you answers to all the questions you have about your blood and seems to have enormous angelic wings and your first impulse is to throw a bomb at her?”
“W...I...It seemed like a good idea at the time...” Jerry said weakly. When he described it like that it made it sound like a bad thing.
“ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!” Goose exploded. “You tried to blow up your guardian angel?!”
