ABANDONED. Mystery about a murder in a small town believed to be a womans brother

In this book, the main character is a women who has a brother who is basically an outcast of the town. He lives in the woods or forest, and everyone believes he is dangerous. There happens to be a murder of a young girl, I believe it was a girl, and they find her in the woods either in or by a lake. The police instantly believe that it is the woman's brother. She is torn in the middle, but goes out to look for her brother. I remember him ending up catching her, looking for him, and he carried her to a maze like cave that he lives in, and is planing to murder in some strange ritual. The killer were actually two guys that lived in the town who I believe also played a part in the story. I read it like two years ago in Iraq and I am trying to remember all the books that I have ever read. I'm doing very good, but this one I just found in the airport, and picked up. Thanks in advance. I also remember there being a guy at a gas station getting shot, by the two guys.
