"If it is, we'll see baboons an ibises working." Tim said.

Soon, they began to hear the sounds of a basketball bouncing off the floor, affirming their belief that this was the right place.
Mod
He would hate to lose that badly.
They came upon a basketball court, baboons playing each other so intensely, they barely even noticed the group walk in.
Mod
As described in the tape, it smelled of vinegar and the classrooms were still empty (probably because it was summer now.)
Finally, the group walked up to a door that read: Dr. Thoth.

"Who's coming here when it is the middle of summer?" an annoyed voice said, the door opening.
"Why are you here, I'm very busy thinking of a new project to persue." Thoth said.

Thoth read through it quickly before hiding it away into his lab coat.
"Ah yes." Thoth said, letting the teens into his office. "You survived the beast. I don't know why they couldn't have just sent it some other way."
"Do you know anything about it though?" Tim asked.
"I'm actually supposed to tell where to go from here. The person who gave you that note didn't want you to get to them too soon." Thoth explained.

"Where do we go from here?" Tim asked.
"Your an impatient one, aren't you?" Thoth said. "Just let me remember where... I believe it is in the Himalayas."
"What!" Damian said.
"Could be..." Thoth said, cupping his chin in thought.

"Okay, just show us to them and we'll be on our way!" Damian said.
"That might not be the best idea." Mira said. "If I remember right, it's nightime there."
"So?" Tim asked.
"The cold will be even more extreme at night." Thoth explained. "Probably not good to go in the dark anyway. You mortals don't have the best night vision."

"Three hours!" Tim said, exasperated.
"Or four."
"What are we supposed to do for that long?" Damian asked.
"I suppose you could play the baboons. Try to play better than your Carter friend."

Mira followed quickly, while Tim left more reluctantly.

"Agh!" the baboon said, rushing Damian.
"Okay?" Damian said, beginning to dribble towards the hoop.

"Agh!" the baboons on the sideline yelled in encouragement.

"Here!" Damian called, standing by the goal and making sure no baboons got in the way.

He ran towards the goal, dunking the ball and earning them their first point.

Which ever it was, the baboons began playing harder.

But this time, he didn't even get to the goal before the baboons took the ball from him and began to quickly pass them to each other, throwing it straight into the goal.

"Looking to join the university someday?" Thoth asked.
"Maybe, but first I will complete my duties as a magician."
"You seem to have quite the affinity towards that Tim fellow."
Mira blushed before answering. "I don't like him!"
"I didn't say that. But I am the god of knowledge. But aside from that, you should watch out for Tim, he's harboring a god."
"What!"
"But soon, you won't have to worry about it." Thoth said, walking away. "And if you need to host a god yoursel, I'll be glad to oblidge."

The baboons howled, wanting to continue the game and show them that they were the better species when it came to basketball.

"Agh!" the baboons screeched.

"Well you did much better than Carter." Thoth said as everyone go their correct size coats and gear.

"Thanks." Tim said as he and Damian walked into the portal.

"Wow, this is cool." Damian said.
Mod
"We don't even know where to go." Damian pointed out, looking out at the vast expanse of white land.
"Thoth did say we were a mile or so from the location." Mira said. "That will help."
Violet was behind them, her Jean jacket not a very good at keeping heat. She shivered slightly as she walked, work boots sinking deep into the snow.

((She did, but it will come later))Violet then had a silver coat on, thick and warm over top of her blue-ish grey shirt and jeans.

Despite the coat, Mira wasn't very used to extreme cold.
Violet looked above them, "We might be in the Swiss Alps for all I know."

It looked like there was a drop off a few hundred fee down from them and it just went higher as Tim looked up.
"Man..." Damian panted. "Does anyone else... find it hard to... breath here?"

"They obviously don't want just anybody finding them." Tim said.
"Or we could be around Mt. Everest," She said, her breath freezing in the air.
"We could be!" She frowned.
She smiled, "Yeah." She kept walking through the snow, the substance up to her knees.
She jumped, watching the horizon as a growl echoed through the sky.
"I don't want to find out." She said, teeth chattering.

Tim only glared ahead. "Let's go."
Violet Unsheathed her sword and began to walk in the direction of the growl. Her long dark hair whipped behind her as she walked forward into the deep snow. Her face became rosy in the cold.
That's when she felt as if being watched. "Somethings not right."

Suddenly the creature had came out of nowhere. It was much louder than before and much bigger. It was a snow-Monster-Shaggy dog-Type thing that was 40 feet tall and just as wide. "Oh My God." The creature had a look of fear in it's eyes.

A sheet of snow was coming towards them at an alarming rate.
"The beast must have caused it!" Tim said.
"We'll have to look around." Tim said.
