Sariah finished running when she finally was at her things again. She picked up a water bottle and gulped down the content of it. She was so thirsty and suddenly decided that she liked running. It would be her new thing.

Chase huffed, following after her. She definitely was intriguing to him. He watched her closely, trying to decide what she meant by what she said before. "So you're brother.... what's he like then?" he wondered, curious.
Sariah glanced at him, surprised that he was still following her. "Whih one? The half demon or the full demon? Because bother are bitter at times." she admitted, always curious as to why the was.
Chase shrugged. "The one you were talking about. Before when you compared him to me," he said, falling in step next to her once more. He wanted to know why exactly she said what she said. Maybe he reminded her of her brother.
"Oh, the full fledged demon, if he smiled more, I bet he'd be happy. But really, a smile is just a nice touch on anyone's face." Sariah said softly, talking more to herself than she was to him. She had never berfore felt someone as miserable as him.
Chase frowned a little, and huffed softly. "Well. I'm not exactly your brother am I?" he told her, grimacing, though he didn't draw away from her. "I'm my own person, right? So... you shouldn't base people off your siblings," he told her.
Sariah cocked her head to the side. "I was only telling you that you needed to smile more." she said with a shrug. "It hurts when people don't smile as often. Happy faces make my day."
Chase frowned even more that that, arching a brow, but then just sighed, and nodded. "Happiness isn't an easy thing to come by," he told her, looking away.
Sariah nodded. "Of course it's not. It doesnt just hit you onthe head mister. You gotta go out and find it." she said, giving him a silly look.
Sariah nodded. "Of course it's not. It doesnt just hit you onthe head mister. You gotta go out and find it." she said, giving him a silly look.
Chase glanced at her, furrowing his brows. "It's not the easiest to find either," he told her, running his fingers through his hair.
Sariah stared at him blankly for a long time. "Hae you tried service? I know that's what makes me happy. When I help others." she said softly. She felt a bit dumbfounded by him. She needed to make more contact with People here.
Chase frowned slightly, and slowly shook his head. "Are you offering to help me then?" he wondered, furrowing his brows as he tried to understand her words.
Sariah puffed her cheeks with air and thought about it for a few minutes. "I'd love to help you with whatever it is. After all. I am an angel." she said twisting away from him for a brief moment.
Chase furrowed his brows, confused. "Right. An angel. And you actually want to help," he said in disbelief. He sighed and shook his head. "I don't believe it," he muttered.
Sariah frowned at him. It hurt her face doing sch a thing. "What don't you believe?@ she asked, sounding hurt. Her eyes watering up. She was really blunt but very fragile.
Chase sighed. "That a girl, like yourself, would randomly tell a person she doesn't know, like me, that she is going to help him become happy. How exactly do you plan going about doing that?" he wondered, frowning.
Sariah sniffled. "Because I like seein people happy. Okay, I may be a random stranger to you but I am still a person who enjoys the occasional smile of a person, especially one that runs into me."
Chase sighed softly, then nodded slowly. "Right, I should have guessed," he murmured. "Being an angle and all." He looked at her with a raised brow. "So you'll help me then."
Sariah nodded, reaching over and taking his hand in hers. "Of course I will help. It will be my greatest pleasure." she said giving him a smile.
Chase stiffened as she took his hand, but relaxed, looking at her, and nodding quickly. "Okay," he murmured, blinking.
Sariah released his hand and went back to gatherin he stuff, once she was done she looked up at him expectantly. "So, tell me about yourself, Fire Griffin."
Chase frowned slightly, tilting his head to one side. "Where should I start?" He wondered, furrowing his brows.
"Where the unhappiness began." Sariah answered him as she sat diwnon te bleachers. She looked like a sweaty thearopist whichever as kind of funny if you thought about it.
Chase frowned, his eyes clouding as he tried to think. "I've always been unhappy. My entire life," he muttered, almost glaring at her. "So...." he trailed off.

((I could have sworn I posted back here. I'm sorry. :/ ))
Sariah flinched a little and folded her arms. "I see. I'm sorry you feel that way, really. But as the new stranger in your life, I swear to make yoh happy, however that may be. It will happen. I will make you the happiest guy ever… I just… need a plan"

((That's okay ^_^))Chase nodded, though he still felt doubt. "Then think about it. Figure it out. Get a plan," he said, turning away to walk down the track, huffing softly. He felt numb and honestly didn't care much about any of this. But he wasn't going to tell her that.
Sariah looked up after him, feeling hurt. A lot of hurt. She had never in her life felt this beaten down. "You get back here mister!" she called after him, standing up and somewhat jogging to him.
Chase looked at her, frowning. But he slowed, allowing her to catch up. "Why?" He asked, furrowing his brows. This girl was definitely strange to him.
Sariah opened her mouth to speak but nothin came out. She had no ideA, no master plan. She was just an angel trying to figure out how to be a human in the weirdest of ways. "We have to figure it out together."
Chase grimaced at the thought. He huffed and sighed softly. "Fine.... what do we do first then?" He asked, furrowing his brows as he looked at her. "I mean... how do we go about figuring it out?"
Sariah pressed her lips together lettig a plan formulate. "We could give to charity." she offered, raising her eyebrow. For a guy he sure was bitter.
Chase sighed softly, and shrugged. "Okay," he muttered though he didn't see how that would help. He looked at her wearily.
Sarahi grabbed her stuff. "It makes you feel fuzzy on the inside when you help others." she said taking his hand and starting for the exit.
Chase sighed softly, and nodded, following after her, though he didn't agree. Nothing made him feel... fuzzy... on the inside at all.
Sariah looked at him through the corner if her eye and she felt bad. She didnt have to know what he was thinking to know he was miserable. "Did something happen to you that made you this depressed?" she asks quietly.
Chase frowned slightly, furrowing his brows. "No," he told her after a long moment, though it was only half true. He wasn't up for sharing his past though... even if he had one in the first place.
Sariah didn't fully believe him, but that was okay. He didnt trust her. But if it were the last thing she ever did, which it very well he, she would make him crack a smile without being forced to do such a thing. "Oh, well.…"
Chase cleared his throat. "So. Giving to charity. What's the first step?" he asked her, though he was clearly uninterested in it. He didn't really want to make her feel bad though, or make himself feel bad, so he played along, acting interested.
Sariah bit her lip and handed him her gold charmbracelet. "You give an item that holds meaning to you, or used too, to someone who could use it more. In this case we will cash in on my mothers bracelet and give the now got someone who needs it."
Chase frowned at the thought, furrowing his brows. He thought for a long moment, before reaching into his shirt, and pulling out a necklace that was hidden behind his shirt, more of a ring with a chain, and tugged it off, handing it to her, but said nothing.
Sariah furrowed her eyebrows together and stared at the thing in her plam. "It's okay: we don't have to use this. The necklace isn't in use anymore."
Chase frowned deeply, his eyes narrowing into slits, but he stayed calm. "Isn't in use," he repeated, glaring at her now. "Okay," he muttered, taking the necklace from her once more, and slipping it around his neck.
Sariah frowned. "It's just… somethings are to special to give up." she muttered, toeing the ground with the tip of her shoe. She suddenly felt awful. She had never felt such an emotion before. It was like someone knawing at her heartZ
Chase looked at her. "Nothing is too special to give up if you want to give it up for the right reasons. According to you, this is the right reason," he told her, hiding the necklace once more.
Sariah nodded. "You're right. Still, we should go to the pawn shop. I think it's in our best interest." she said, giving him a soft smile.
Chase nodded, sighing softly as he gazed at her a little puzzled. "Lead the way," he told her, grimacing a little.
Sariah started walking in the direction she felt like was leading her.
