She looked at him, trying to figure him out. What was going on?
Oz shook ahrd and backed away quikly
"What's wrong?" She said this almost as if she was worried.
Oz shook his head msilign weriyl and glanced away
Katie took a few steps toward him.
Oz msiled a bit, eyes losing their sainness
Katie smiled, realizing what was happenning. She giggled joyfully.
Oz lfinched and coveredh is ears, "stop laughing..' he whimpered
"Why?" She grinned, inching closer.
Oz hiwned and trimbeled, he hsook his head
Katie took one more step closer andplaced her hand on his shoulder.
Oz lfinched and watched as lbood ran down his hands
She looked at his hands, then caught the metallic smell of the dark liquid.
he hsook softly, diging his finger nails deeper into his hands
Katie grabbed his left hand and began trying to force them to uncurl.
he hissed and finally let her uncrul his hand
"Tell me something. Does this happen normally?" She took his right hand and began uncurling it.
"Why dont you just yourself do it?" Katie kept his hands in her's.
Oz lfinched rocking know, eyes black
he hsook his head nad whined
"Why not spare yourself the trouble? Do it." She was whispering directly in his ear now.
he lfinched and hsoved his face into her neck, "i dont wnat to hurt oyu.." he sobebd softly
"You wont, trust me." She smiled a little.
Oz lfinched and dug his fingernails into her arms and grinnend darkly
"Good job." Her smile widened.
Oz grinned, making her arm bleed know
She looked up at the sky and began laughing.
Oz winced and covered his ears again
" If you dont like my laughing, then silence it."
oz hwined softly, and glanced at he,r hands still shaking, "i..dont want..to hrut oyu..' he hiwmpered and griped her arms again
"You wont! I promise... " Katie gave a reassuring smile.

She stepped back," Fine then." Katie gave a small smile.

Oz winced, suddenly shifting it a dragon and hissing hot steam, tai lslaping agsent the gournd, his wound still in his back.
She pursed her lips, thinking. " I doubt you have a first aid kit..."
She began shifting through her pant pockets, searching for something. "Aha!" Katie produced a tiny vial filled with a purple liquid. She went up to Oz. "May I?"
She took the cork out and got as close as she could to the wound. Katie let one drop fall on the wound. Katie clised her eyes, waiting for the outcome.
Oz lfinched and screamed, snaping at her in anger, the owund seemed to feel like it was burning.
Her eyebrows rose. That had never happened before.
Oz hissed nagerly and turned his good side ot her, so if she wnated to do it again, she woud have to calim ovr his musceled chinese drago nbody
" Now dont be like that. It may be easier if you are in your other form. Please?"

"Right... Okay fine." She began climbing to get to the wound.
