Dane walked for the first time without tripping over anything, then he jinxed himself and tripped near the bleachers.

Jasmine lay on her stomach on one of the bleachers, chewing on the end of a pen as a notebook page half-covered in sketches lay in front of her. She stared off into space, lost in her own world.

Dane huffed, his hands being dug into by a few small rocks. He started standing up. So much for not tripping. He thought with a sigh.

Jasmine's eyes lit up as an idea struck her and she went to write it down but the pen flopped out of her hand.

Dane looked up, noticing the girl for the first time, he blushed lightly, feeling a bit embarrassed for tripping,even if she hadn't of notices.

Her pen flew to land in front of him and she sat up, looking around to see where it had gone.

Dane bent over and picked up the pen. "Um... Miss, your pen." He reached out to give it to her, only he toppled over himself.

She jumped up, catching ahold of his arm before he could hurt himself. "Are you okay?" She braced herself for the usual onslaught of images that usually accompanied the first physical touch but there was nothing. It was heaven.

Dane nodded slowly, as he straightened up. "Yes, I'm a bit of a klutz... so that happens every... um... 5 seconds..." He said, handing her the pen.

Dane opened his mouth to speak, but closed it, nodding again and sitting down.

Dane bit his lips, raising his eyebrow. "Depends, just kidding... go ahead." He smiled.

"How come I feel nothing when I touch you?" She winced when she heard how bad that sounded. "What I mean is that usually I get a glimpse of what someone's abilities are but with you it was like I was a normal person helping another normal person."

"Well, your definition of normal is different from mine." Dane said shrugging a little, then looked around afraid that he might be struck by lightening for saying something mean. "I'm a Psychic."
