Joel came out of the locker room in PE uniform, stretching for track.

Alyss walked on to the track and say by a tree, stretching out herself. She was wearing short shorts and a tank top.
Joel walked by her, saying a two-syllable damn, then whistling and ending it with a wink.
Alyss looked at him. "I'm going to guess your talking about me?" she said, still stretching.
He sat down next to her. "Yeah."
Alyss looked at him, and noticed that he was sort of cute. Okay, maybe he's cute. But I don't want to have the same thing happen to me.. She thought. "I'm Alyss. Fallen Fairy."
"I'm Joel, a half fallen angel, half fairy.
"Hmmm.. What brings you to AMB?" Alyss asked, not sure if he was one of those fakers or a true guy.
"I don't want to go to a normal school, because I feel to magical." He grinned and did his signature wink.
Alyss rolled her eyes, but a smile crossed her lips before flitting away again. "I can see that..." she said dryly.
"So what brings you to AMB?" He saw her expression and folded his arms.
Alyss finished stretching, then took a sip from her water bottle. "I was running from some people. Found my little sister and I'm officially an aunt. Just trying to learn a bit more about the world." She finished.
"Ah. So, what's the coolest species you've seen here so far?"
"Hmm... Maybe Fallen angel or daughter of Hades." Alyss said thoughtfully, standing up.
"Daughter of Hades? Wow, that is awesome..." He looked up at her and blocked the sun from his eyes.
"She didn't seem to like it very much." Alyss commented, then hesitated. "Would you like to run with me?" she asked.
"Sure." He stood up and grabbed his water bottle.
Alyss bent down and grabbed hers, whispering something under her breath. The bottles disappeared.
"Nice." He side smiled at her, and gestured for her to start walking to the track first.
Alyss smiled back. "Thanks." she said, then strides over to the track. "Ready?" she asked.
He smirked. "Ready." He started jogging towards her the picking up the pace once he got on the track.
Alyss jogged after him, enjoying the excercise.
He wiped off a bead of sweat and tried to think of something to say. "So... What powers do have?"
"I can use magic... I can do some other stuff too." Alyss said, feeling sort of uncomfortable with giving away her skills.
"Fun." He shut up, waiting for her to say something first.
Alyss shrugged. "I suppose." she said, wiping swear of her forehead. After a pause, she asked, "Do you always flirt with girls when you seem them?"
"How pretty they are." He smiled at her, hoping she would like this.

Alyss tried to roll her eyes, but a smile escaped her lips. "Seriously," she said for confirmation that he wasn't joking.

Alyss sped up again, passin him with a grin. "Better catch me then!" she said teasingly.
"Hot." He muttered before running up to her. He winked at her then ran past her.
Alyss puffed, then ran faster, leveling with him. She imitated his wink.
He grinned. "A man's body can only sprint for so long." He ran faster.
Alyss was starting to slow down. "Ugh." she groaned, slowing down to sit on the grass. "You win..."
he stopped and put both of his arms in the air. "Victory!" He went to sit down next to her, panting. "I was starting to cramp anyways..." Maybe that would make her feel better about her EPIC FAIL.
