Terri, right on! Superheroes take a stand and do the right thing, something that people in this age find very difficult to do. Somebody always has to do it, though.
It's okay, Kirsty. Some "superheroes" are lame, but there are a few epic ones.
I'd choose Catwoman due to the fact that I'm glad to see some take charge, kick butt women in there. What's your opinion on Wonder Woman?
She's a respectable superhero, and she's definitely got her own personality. I haven't really read her comics, but I hope if they ever turn her into a movie that they'll do it in the style of "Captain America: The First Avenger." The Captain America movie could've been horrid (like the first Captain America film was back in 1990), but I think they did a really nice job with him.
She is called the First Lady of comics books for a reason, after all. I still prefer Catwoman, though.
I'm not sure. She just seems off.
Of course she's off. She's a hero/villain, a self motivated thief who walks a delicate line between good and bad, and Batman really wants to help her tread a better path in life. He never gives up on her, and she, in return, helps him many times. I like my characters complicated. :)
I. FOUND. GALLIFREY'S. SOLAR SYSTEM.
Hurcules constellation, star M13 and it's buddy.
Yes, I know Doctor Who says the Constellation of Katerborous. It also mentions that some of earth's constellations were renamed and it became the constellation of Kasterborous.
SO. THERE.
I FREAKING FOUND GALLIFREY.

COOL. Now we just need to get the Doctor's attention.

How are we going to get a signal to a planet 250,000 light years away?Let's all set a date and time, and see if we can get a message to his psychic paper.
Right you are!
I stumbled across this in a YouTube comment on the Doomsday theme. I don't think the user who posted it there wrote it (I think someone on Tumblr did), so to whoever wrote this - thank you.Rose went away
So the Doctor is blue.
Ask Donna, “Where’s the Doctor?”
She’ll reply, “Doctor Who?”
Sarah Jane, and Martha,
And now both the Ponds
Had their fun with the Doctor
And now they’ve all gone.
So ask me again
Why the TARDIS is blue:
There’s a sad man inside
With both hearts torn in two.
:(
I KNOW. Those last four lines make up the first paragraph I ever wrote entirely in circular gallifreyan.
Yeah, it came from tumblr. It was so sad when I first read it I almost started to cry. D:
Figured this would probably be the best place for this without starting up some new thread somewhere.
The Big Bang Theory episode tonight made some major Doctor Who references.

Today is Matt Smith's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATT! The cast and crew got him a TARDIS cake. :) I want to make that cake. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0109672And I watched that epiosode of The Big Bang Theory, Kirk (twas my first episode, thank you CBS.com). It was funny! The laughing was a bit annoying sometimes, but I tried to tune it out as much as I could. Sheldon is remarkable. My brother has been compared to Sheldon three times by people that he knows at college, so I am enjoying finding the similiarities.
Saw a pic of the TARDIS Cake. Cool.
RE: Big Bang I tend to ignore the audience laughter on it and for most sitcoms. At least it is real audience and not canned laughter. I really think all sit-coms should do away with the audience reactions it isn't needed. Besides sometimes I laugh at something funny that others don't and vice-versa.

OMIGOD SAME!!!!!! I just wore a graduation gown and a yoghurt cup attatched to a headband and painted on the rectangles/words. IT was pretty cool and my sister was the 11th Doctor complete with bow tie and homemade fez! ; )

I broke down and bought the Eleventh Doctor's screwdriver at Barnes & Noble. I REGRET NOTHING! *runs around room buzzing everything*Oh, and I just got back from watching Skyfall. Words cannot describe how amazing that film is. My teeth were clenched so hard during the tense scenes that they hurt. Just... wow.
Another reason to love Barnes & Noble! I mean, how CANT you love it? Doctor Who + Books + Food = VERY VERY VERY happy Kirsty!!! I could spend the whole day in there!

Guys, Doctor Who is nominated for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show at the People's Choice Awards. You can vote as many times as you want, so please go and vote for Doctor Who! http://www.peopleschoice.com/pca/vote...
And I also wanted to pose this question:
I am wearing old blue jeans with a hole in one knee, a dark blue t-shirt, a brown hoodie covered in skulls, and my socks to meet the Doctor.
I would fix the TARDIS with my makeup kit, and fight the Daleks with a picture frame. ^_^
I have to fight daleks with a pen holder. Great.Have to repair the taris with my headphones
And I'm meeting the Doctor in nice clothes thank god. But barefoot :p
I fight Daleks with a WATER BOTTLE FULL OF SODA.I meet the Doctor in an old pair of shorts with the zipper broken, a black-and-white tee shirt with lacey stuff at the top and socks that don't match at all.
I'm repairing the TARDIS with... a wall? WTF? HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?!
So on a level of 1-10 how screwed are you? ;) At least the TARDIS will feel pretty with lots of lip gloss, thanks to me!
Maybe I can short something out with the soda? At least I kind of look okay, so long as I keep my shirt pulled down. And I have no idea how I can use a wall to fix the TARDIS. So... 7.8?
EVERYONE COME LOOK AT THE AMAZING DRAWING I MADE!!! I'm so proud of it!!! http://alykusua.deviantart.com/#/d5ldq5m
