Several Requests

On my author page, 3 of my books state there are 2 editions. Actually, there is only 1 edition of each of my books.

I add my books when they're published, but after a few weeks someone else adds another "edition" when it goes to Kindle, which doesn't include the same information I have. For instance, in the details I include my website and note if my book is a short story or not.

Can these "extra" editions be deleted?

A third edition of Fight for Love was created by someone and has typos in it. Please delete this one, too. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...

Is there anything we can do to prevent this from happening in the future? Should I apply for librarian status to have more control of the information displayed for my books?

Hi there-

Whenever a new edition comes out, it will import. If we delete it, it will just reappear. The information is coming from amazon.com for the kindle editions. You can post here when you want information like the url added to it, or, I *believe,* as a goodreads author, you can edit your own works.

You're also welcome to to join us in the librarian ranks (it's a lot of fun, most of them time!)

Okay...I think I got them. I added the url, made the new editions use your description as the default, so they match what you put in, and set up The Arrangement and Fight for Love as a new series, "Hot Latin Men," and numbered them.

It will take about 10 minutes to update, but would you please check behind me and make sure everything is correct? If not, I'll make corrections. :)

Oh...and added the missing cover and combined Fight for Love, so they're neater. :)

BTW, I've tried editing the books, but the Kindle editions don't let me. I get an error message stating I need to be a librarian when I try.

Just curious, but where is the third edition of Fight for Love without the cover coming from? That's the only one with a third edition popping up.

I thought that was weird, too...but it's coming from Barnes and Noble, with a different isbn.
