The Gryffindor Common Room is located in one of the castle's towers (Gryffindor Tower), the entrance to which is located on the seventh floor and is guarded by an oil painting of the Fat Lady, who is garbed in a pink silk dress. She permits entry only after being given the correct (regularly changing) password. Behind her is a large common room, with a fireplace, and two staircases leading up to the boys' and girls' dormitories. It is very comfortable and members of the Gryffindor house meet there for study groups, celebrations, or relaxation.

Neal sat in a couch right next to the fire reading the Daily Prophet.

Nalia walks in. "Don;t you ever get tired of hearing everything they write about. It's mostly rumors."

"There's truth in everything." Neal said with a laugh, "But yes, they annoy me."

[Kaleigh]

"So how are your classes going?" Nalia asked taking a seat next to him.

"Good I suppose." Neal said, "Though it's only the first day. What are your electives?"

[Kaleigh]

"I can't even remember them all. You know how I am." Nalia laughed.

Neal laughed along, "And I wouldn't change it at all."

[Kaleigh]

Nalia blushed, She has had a crush on Neal since their third year at Hogwarts.

"So are you trying out for quidditch this year, or are you just going to cheer me on?" Neal asked

[Kaleigh]

"Me? Quidditch? Did you have an accident in posions again Neal?" Nalia laughed.

"Oh of course, they always get me." Neal yawned.

[Kaleigh]

"I- I could help you with that you know?" Nalia said looking at the floor.

"That'd be great! I definitely don't want to get a troll on my OWLs" Neal said, putting the newspaper down.

[Kaleigh]

"You know, I'm not doing that great in Defens against The Dark Arts." Nalia said hoping he would offer to help her too.

"Tell you what" Neal said, "You help me, and I'll help you. Deal?"

[Kaleigh]

Nalia smiled ear to ear and nodded rapidly.

"Great. Well I'm beat, so I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow." Neal said standing up.

[Kaleigh]

"Don't threaten me." Nalia giggled again. "See you then."

Ben went up to his bed and saw that Neal was already asleep in the bed next to his. He went to sleep.

The next morning Nalia woke up on time, but there was no sign of Neal near the common room. "Crimmy." she called. He cam scurring up to her. "Go to the boys dormitory and wake Neal up." He had his orders and Crimmy was off for the dorm.

"Woah!" Neal jumped up, wide awake to find it was a cat who woke him. He looked at his watch, well, he thought, I'm only up 15 minutes early. I guess I could go down to breakfast now. He got dressed and made his way to the common room ten minutes later.

Nalia was already there with Crimmy.

"Hey Nalia." Neal said as he spotted her in the common room, "Have you eaten yet?"

Nalia shook her head no and stood up with a smile.

"To the great hall we go then!" Neal said, walking out with her.

Nalia laughed. "Alright then."

Neal raced up to his dorm room and didn't see Ben there. Ha! he thought, I win! He quickly turned around hurried to the lake.

After dinner Ben went up to the common room to try to do his homework.

Neal decided he couldn't wait up for Ben any longer and he went to get some sleep.

Ben walked into the dorm room and saw Neal alseep. He quietly changed and also went to sleep.

Ben woke uo and looked over at neal. He tossed a shoe at him, "wake up man."

"Ow!" Neal said, waking with a start. "What'd ya do that for?" He asked sleepily

[Kyle]

"To wake you up." Ben said, buttoning his shirt. "Get ready so we can go eat."

Neal groaned, "that actually sounds good." He changed, and was now putting his Gryffindor vest on.

Ben grabbed his bag of school books. "Ready?"

"Yep." Neal said, swinging his bag over his shoulder and heading down the stairs.

Nalia laid in her bed and coughed. "I hate being sick. I've been here for days." she grumbled to herself.
