I really liked the story overall but was a little disappointed to find that it had nothing to do with the first 2 books in the series. Granted, there is name dropping but the author never followed through. And, yes, you are correct. The imagrey is beautiful.

I really liked this book! It's so wonderful! The world is so beautiful and imaginative! The different birds (the swan is my favorite) and the WIND!! Also the gods and goddesses! I really, really liked Monzapel, she reminded me of Artemis in Greek mythology. So what do you think??
