Lori (moderatrixlori) *Minors should not post pictures which contain any personal information and should obtain their parent's permission before posting.

*Graphic photos, including nudity or sexual content will be removed. Kissing and hugging is okay :)

*Please post your pictures in the appropriate thread or start a new one if one doesn't exist.

*Moderators reserve the right to move images to the correct threads or delete those deemed inappropriate.

Lori (moderatrixlori) How do I post pictures in the Photos thread?

Pictures posted in a thread must be published to a website. You can not post pictures from your computer. The HTML code for posting this picture is:

<img src="http://galen-frysinger.com/graphics/p...

To display the picture you want type (or copy and paste) [image error] into your post. Pull up the picture you want to display and right click on the image. From here you'll copy the address of the image. What you see when you right click on the image varies depending on which browser you're using.

Internet Explorer: Right-click the image, choose "Properties", and then copy the 'Address (URL)'.

Firefox: Click on "Copy Image Location". This will copy the image address to your clipboard so you can paste it later.

Safari:(for Windows) right-click > Copy Image Address (for Mac) control+click > Copy Image Address

Chrome: Click on "Copy image URL"

Once you have copied the address or URL of the image, paste it between the "" in the html code above ([image error])

If the picture is too big and you want to scale it down - limit either width or height (width must be a number between 0-400, height must be 0-1000).

<img src="http://galen-frysinger.com/graphics/p..." width=300/>

<img src="http://galen-frysinger.com/graphics/p..." height=100/>

Should there be rules about minors posting personal pictures? It is a rule at my house that they give out no personal information. Just wondering.

Lori (moderatrixlori) Good idea Melanie. I've updated the rules.

Great picture - I also posted it in the "Inspirational Gay Pride Images" thread. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

This site offers privacy options although not complete privacy -

Do I want a Public or Private Profile?
Regardless of whether your profile is public or private, any of your images and videos could display in a search, if the search term the user enters matches a tag on your media.

However, a private profile ensures that a URL link to your Home page, Your Stuff, Your Albums, or your Favorites is not provided by TinyPic, and any user who had the link would have to log into your account to see your stuff.

A public profile means that a URL link to your Home page, Your Stuff, Your Albums, and your Favorites is provided by TinyPic, and a user who has the link can see those pages in their entirety.
