Ebony Taylor | 95 comments Hi, re-introducing myself! I'm Ebony, I was here for a while last year, or the year before, I kind of dropped off sometime during a 'The Suitable Boy' read-along (which I feel bad about, I still haven't finished the book!). Anyway, I'm back, and committed to reading a whole lot more than I have been lately. I've recently finished my Masters degree, and moved to a smaller house (temporarily) so I have more time to read, but somehow my fiancee convinced me to put all my books in storage to save space (several large boxes of them!). So of course, the logical fix for this is that I need to purchase more books from my TBR list and read them instead of re-reading my favourites like I usually do.

So hi again!

Hey, Ebony! Congrats on finishing your Masters!

He must've been real persuasive to get you to store away your books!

Lahni | 660 comments Hello everyone. I joined this group over 4 years ago but haven't really been on (or read anything longer than a Facebook post) since I had twins 2 years ago so I'm reintroducing myself. I'm Lahni and I live in Washington state. I am a stay at home mom with 7 children ages 18, 16, 14, 10, 7, 2 (twins). People often assume we are a blended family but nope. Just a big one! I have missed reading and I'm so glad to be back! I love reading challenges and the pie challenge looks like fun. I can't wait to jump in!

isabella (herongraystairss) Hi!! I'm isabella, 16-turning-17, in sydney, australia!
I just joined goodreads recently and i'm looking to expand my reading collection - i haven't been reading as many books as i would've liked to in the past few years and that really disappoints me.. I'm hoping to find some great books through this site and this group. Thank you for creating this group!!
God bless x

Hello everyone! My name is Alison, I'm 17 years old and live in Belgium. I'm finishing high school this year and will go to University next year to learn biomedical sciences.

I can speak / read in three languages: French, Dutch and English. My native tongue is French but I prefer reading books in their original language when I can.

I love YA books, but I can also appreciate classics or adult fantasy books. Some of my favourites are: The Hunger Games, Divergent, 1984, Animal Farm, The Postman Always Rings Twice, The Fault in Our Stars and Warbreaker

I am currently reading The Odyssey which I think is really interesting, even if I don't understand all the references in the book (which is a pity) because I'm not an expert in Greek mythology (I wish I was though).

Marina (sonnenbarke) | 1513 comments Hi everybody! My name's Marina, I'm a 33 year old woman from Italy. I was looking for new, nice groups to join when I found this one and I think it's a very good idea. I like reading various kinds of books but, for some reason or another, they mostly seem to fall into the category which we could call "literary fiction"... This year I've started going outside my comfort zone, though, and I'm enjoying it a lot, so I guess this group is going to be another stimulus in that direction.

Maggie the Muskoka Library Mouse (mcurry1990) Hello everyone! My name is Margaret, and I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. I love all genres, and don't think a day is complete without getting in at least one chapter. :) My husband and I live in Muskoka, Ontario, and I work as a librarian....which is an ideal job for someone who adores books as much as I do! I look forward to some interesting discussions here.

message 830: by Marina (new)

Allison (rainy-day-reads) Hello everyone! I love book challenges and was looking for something interesting for 2016 to help me with my overgrown TBR shelf, and came across this group. The games you guys play look like so much fun. I'd like to give it a try.

message 833: by Becky (new)

Becky Hi there!

Just received my 2015 update from Goodreads. Looks like I'm a bit stuck on Charlaine Harris so open to suggestions for 2016.

I like to escape but not too scary, life has enough of that thanks!

Love the APP! Cheers Becky

Are you looking for books in the same genre as Charlaine Harris or something different?

We're looking at Debut for January so jump in and you just may discover something interesting.

I love to read and never really kept track of how many books I read in a year. My plan for 2016 is to find out!

Linda C (libladynylindac) Hi,
I heard about this group from Tien when we were discussing the demise of Shelfari. Thought I'd join and see what's up. I already belong to several other groups on GR and love the challenges at various sites.
