haha..i know what you mean about the critical thinking skills.
i think my least favorite class was either business math..because i'm horrible at math..or macroeconomics..because i didn't understand a thing!

that's exactly what happened to me..i used to be terrified of public speaking so naturally i feared that class..but my prof was really easy going and it was a small class..mostly with girls in it..and i felt soo comfortable and actually did really well.

haha isn't funny how a professor can either make or break a class. its such a shame..a lot of classes im sure i would have enjoyed more with another professor.

my least favorite class is beginning to be British Lit..the professor is dreadfully boring and my attention span cannot bear the thought of attempting to read another Old/Middle English piece of work. I won't do it anymore! Luckily, we start reading Frankenstein soon. :)
i feel your pain Bree! My boyfriend is the complete opposite of me..he is amazing at math and science..while I'd prefer literature, history, or really anything creative.

the stuff that we are doing is super hard. nothing that would ever present itself in an elementary classroom.
and the professor, don't get me started on her...lol
yuck physics. hated it.
and i've always said it..but the professor really makes or breaks the class for you.
as much as i hated physics..when i had it in high school i had the most amazing teacher ever..and it made it bearable..had it in college..remembered why i hated it so much.

Funny story.
When I took Social Problems, we had some type of test that was to show us if we were racist or not. You had 3 spots to fill on the police department and were given information on 10 applicants and pick which you would hire.
Well, if you hired the 3 most qualified you were considered racist because they were all white. 2 guys and 1 girl.
I was the only one of 66 of us that didn't choose those 3. I came out sexist, cause I chose all 3 of the females. :)

There was this one student, TJ I think his name was, who was a white boy who thought he was a black gangster type, and he was so offended when the teacher told him his answers made him racist. It was pretty entertaining.

my least favorite class is biology, that i took a few semesters ago, it was a summer class and it consisted of 4 hrs from 6pm to 10pm, it was insane we had notes the size of giant dictionaries and packets of papers stapled together with more notes than any average person could handle and on top of that we had 100 question tests and quizes every week it was brutal but i just went to every class and did the best i could and got a B for the course at the end of the semester, the only thing i learned from the teacher is that "pain is your friend"

Sounds interesting, doesn't it? It couldn't be a worse biweekly hour-and-a-half of my life. I suppose I should be grateful it's 4-5:30pm and not the early am? Except I get so sleepy by the end of the day, and the professor knows my name.

My SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) class. I hate computers, and I couldn't figure it out. To top it off, the lecturer was a complete nightmare, everyone hated him.

All 4 of my current classes would qualify. I think they all were a complete waste of time. Not extremely difficult but oh so boring! Only a week left though! Yay!

Jen, I love accounting. Obviously since I do it every day. I guess class always depended upon who was teaching it. I have had horrid teachers and wonderful teachers. I am sorry you aren't enjoying it.

Fortunately, I loved my comparative literature professor this semester and my soc class was pretty interesting, so that balanced it out.

physics was my worst subject too! I remember hating it back in my firts year: when I entered medical school I thought we were doing something *actually* related to medicine from the beginning or at least biology. Instead our first classes were physics, chemistry and statistics all through the first semester. It was a huge disappointment. And though I studied physics a lot I just managed to get 24/30 (we don't use the ABC system here).

Ugh. I hate math in general, Jess. And Calculus bored me to death. I feel for you. It's especially frustrating when you haven't taken a math course in a while.
I love maths, I just can't do them....
Classical social thought last year sucked. It was unfortunate, because it should have been really interesting learning about Marx, Durkheim and Weber. However, our lecturer...oh man, he always used to wear beige clothes. Which summed him up really; beige clothes, beige personality.

I'm sorry Jess. I enjoyed my last Calculus class (I had to take the same class 3 times, but that it another story) but it really wasn't the subject. Our teacher was a riot.
Math came pretty natural, so until I got to that level, I really didn't have to think. Yes, I am that person most people hate. Didn't have to study or really try for any grade in any math class. I know it drove my sisters insane. And my parents couldn't help me with my homework after about 5th grade. :)
