I'm Catherine of Bookish Habits, also a reader (surprise!), an occasional runner & a feminist. I currently live in Missouri with a fiance and two cats and time-travel back to somewhere between 1965 & 1982 for my otherwise standard office job.
I'm Anita. Besides being a reader, I'm a baker, a part-time wage-slave, and a full-time homeschooling mother. I live in Pittsburgh with my husband, son, and too many pets.
I'm Ellen from Fat Books & Thin Women. I'm a Peace Corps Volunteer in Macedonia, till October. When I finish here I'm moving to Albania to spend nine months doing research as a Fulbright fellow. I'm from NJ and probably heading back to that region when I finish up here.
I'm Virginie, living in Paris (France). I am particularly interested in american fiction and enjoy reading in english. I am also very interested in japanese literature. I love to travel with my family (husband and daughter).
Welcome to the group, Jillian! I hope to see classics make appearances on the Reading Buddies list, so hopefully we'll have another one for which you can join in soon. Also, if there's a particular classic for which you'd like company, just let me know. There are informal, less scheduled reads that happen here, too!
Hi, I'm Louise from Louise Reviews. I live in Surrey in England and my other hobbies include scuba diving, leading a local Brownie group and studying at the Open University.
Hi Louise, welcome to the group! I've always thought scuba diving would be a fascinating hobby, but I've never lived anywhere near water. Someday! I look forward to reading with you!
Hi all!My name is Jane and I work at the University of Nevada, Reno where I am also a student of history. I have always wanted to read this classic so I joined on Thursday and picked up a copy of the book this weekend. I am so interested in reading other people's impressions of the story. It is long but I am still sure I can read it during the rest of November. I am excited to meet you all.
Hi Jane! Thanks for introducing yourself, and welcome to the group! I'm really happy to be finally reading The Woman in White and hope you enjoy it, too. Looking forward to discussing!
Thank you for the welcome. I am already excited about the story and I am only about 50 pages in so far. I cancelled my lunch date and instead spent my lunch hour reading this book.
I know that feeling! I've spent many a lunch hour with a good book instead of other people. I'm glad you're enjoying the book so much. I'm actually off to read some more of it now...

I'm Erin, of the blog Erin Reads. I'm a reader (obviously), an audiobook listener, and a knitter. I'm currently in school for Information Sciences. My husband and I live in Pennsylvania.
