Kelli I loved this book. I don't know what I was expecting when I picked up this book but it wasn't at all what I found in the pages. I was constantly surprised page after page. I'm nearly certain I felt every possible emotion while reading this book. The biggest surprise was how swept up I became in the romance that was hidden between the lines and when I finally got to the end of the book I was left with an ache. I wanted to turn the page. At first this truly disturbed me that he would finish the book like that but now looking back I love the ending, I love how I get to decide where these characters wound up and that is far better than anything that Garth Stein could have wrapped up for me in a nice little bow. What do you think?

Marie I agree about the ending, but I Think The Art of Racing in the Rain was better

Kelli I haven't read it yet. I need to pick it up I've been meaning to for awhile.

I had to read the ending a few times to get it. I wanted her to go with Eddie! And - perhaps she did. Oh Garth!!! It's sequel time!!!

Kelli Yes! That's what I wanted her to do too and I love that I get to decide what really ends up happening.

And I STILL haven't read it yet -- but in my defense my TBR pile is piling up much faster than I can get them read.
