It's my fav too. The best sci-fi I've ever read. It was so funny sometimes that it bought tears in my eyes.
I like old mythologies and books that draw from them. Gene Wolfe's Soldier in the Mist and Nicholas Christopher's The Bestiary.

The next one is Mostly Harmless.
A new book of the same series written by Eoin Colfer named And Another Thing...
was released last year.
"Mostly Harmless." What a great title.

Mostly harmless is the description of Earth in theHitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Fantasy movie called The Troll Hunter. Kind of a cross between Storm Chasers with Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton and another film called The Blair Witch Project.

a weird, intellectually challenging thriller...a must read for all science buffs."
Oh!! He writes science fiction too??
Have read The Hungry Tide and The Glass Palace and liked them.

For math lovers, I recommend Logicomix: An Epic Search for Truth. Its a book on Bertrand Russell's escapades with logic. Wonderful read.
