Kk, so this is kind of based on the book Assassin's Apprentice, and on the video game Assassin's Creed.

Basically, there are two different guilds, the Healers guild called Thorn, and the Assassin's guild, called Stone. If you are an Assassin, you are from Stone, if you are a Healer you are from Thorn. Healers are like sorcerers, but they don't exactly use magic. They're like the olden day witches and wizards, so to speak. Thorn and Stone are very much against each other in their point of views and actions.

Assassin's don't just go out and kill as they please. Unless they are not apart of Stone, they are assigned to their work, and they don't just kill humans. They do have a higher master, called the Master. :D His identity is unknown, and he hides at the Stone Stronghold. The Stone Stronghold is far from any other town, a four days ride from any town. The Healer's Stronghold is also four days ride from any town, in the total opposite direction.

Thorn has a master called Madam Tresea. She is in charge of everyone in Thorn. If you are a Healer, you are also assigned to do things. You are the political people, the diplomatic people, who think that negotiating is better than force. You are sometimes assigned to be councilors to nobles and maybe even royalty, and you are in charge of the negotiations between other kingdoms to bring peace.

Personality: Quiet and calculating, SinClaire holds a certain aspect that makes her the perfect predator. She hasn't felt an emotion since she was 3; leaving her with no exact definition of what emotion or feeling is. It's how she was trained and raised. There is a hidden soft to her that comes out only when she's around small children.

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Personality: Hard core, nothing gets to him. Ever since he was seven he has trained himself against any emotion. Despite this, he has a short temper and is paranoid sometimes. He can be very sarcastic, rude, but can also be a nice guy. As a trait of an assassin, he doesn't trust very easily.

Background: Nothing beyond eleven years old is known, he won't tell much, but what he says is when he was six he ran away and went to live in the streets. At seven something happened, which destroyed his reason of trust, and emotions, he now believes quite strongly they are simply illusions. At eleven years old he was picked up by someone from the Creed and was trained as an assassin.
Other: His weapon is a halberd. He can use most any weapon, but only if he has double of it. So he has two halberds. He made them himself, to fit what he wants. He made the halberds shorter, instead of being a spear that needed both hands, he made them a sword's length, and he took extra care on the steel. It is adamant, and he folded it carefully, and tightly, so that it looks thin, but wouldn't break. Background: Grew up in 'the slums' as some would say. Learned the basics to survive on the streets (stealing, breaking and entering, fighting). Ryder learned quickly that being a girl could be both an advantage (when people thought you were a dainty thing until you punched them.) and a disadvantage (a girl, growing up on the streets with crazy, creepers...enough said) and any thought of being a normal girl went out the window.
Other: Pretty neutral between the Stone and the Thorn. She picks up jobs from whoever, as long as payments come along and she gets to steal a couple things.

Personality: Calm and poised. She hates the Assassins because they bring pain and death and devotes her life to Thorn. She is strong and independent, but knows her place. Background: As a lady, she is expected to be married to keep the peace between her kingdom and another. She has also been brought up to hate the assassins even though she doesn't really know too much about them. She has only seen the pain they have brought.
Other: Her parents are expected to be targets of the Assassins, which is why she agreed to learn how to kill so she could defend herself. She doesn't have a strong connection with her parents, but she is dutiful and respectful to them all the same. She does not know who is supposed to marry.

Name: Everyone forgot, they call him the "old man" but his name is Cleever "Adamant" Reddgen. (adamant is not really in his name, it is just what he was called back in the day when he used to be praised as the best assassin.)
Age: Somewhere between 50 and 1000000000. No one knows.
Gender: Male.
Personality: He is like Ducky from NCIS. Exactly. He is a kind, good old man, who is always looking for the good. He is usually the one who finds kids on the street and brings them to Stone. He is a philosopher, and a deep thinker.
Appearance: He is 5 feet tall exactly, white hair and a short beard, green eyes that are still sharp, and excesive "laughing lines" at his eyes.
Occupation: Retired Assassin, he is now the Assistant to the Master at Stone.
Background: Mostly unknown. Back in the day when he was the Adamant Assassin, he was the most efficient, the quickest, most skilled, most knowledgable assassin there ever was. A living legend. He is highly respected everywhere, even some in Thorn respect him now. He joined Stone when he was fifteen.

Background: When he was younger, his parents were killed by a theif. When he saw what happened, he ran away, and his sister joined Thorn, something he didn't know about. After he joined Stone, he heard news that his sister was in Thorn, which made her his enemy. If he left Stone, they'd either kill him, or Thorn would use him for information. If he went near Thorn territory, he'd have the same fate, so he just accepts that he can't see his sister ever again.

She can be cold hearted at times and will not think twice when doing an objective; she will just do it and do it well, without many, if any people knowing of her existence in the area. And if they do she does a good job that they can’t spread the word. She is known of around the land that she is heartless but she can be quite understanding and only one person has ever seen that she has love in her heart though they have now passed so she had no one to back her up, not that she wants a soft reputation. She does not like to torture her objectives but will if that is the only way of collecting information. She is also very quiet

Appearance: She has long raven black hair which she ties back so her objectives, if in the case they pull back her hood, have nothing hold onto. When she is not doing work she has her hair out under her hood. She is forever wearing her hood and cloak around for she does not want people seeing her appearance. She had bright blue eyes and has long thick eyelashes framing them. She has high cheek bones and a great figure; curves in the right places, long legs, a great bust though it does not interfere with her work. She is athletic and has muscle but is not over muscled. She is quite tall too, standing at nearly 6 foot. She is fast on her feet too which aids her in her works.

Background: Coming from a family of 12 (not including parents) she is the 4th youngest. Her family lived in a poor community that was a really harsh environment. Each day you had to fight for your food and if you did not win you got no food. Living in these conditions built her to be who she is now. When she finally got away at the age of 16 she heard of the assassins she knew she had to be in it. She joined the brotherhood and has been working for them ever since. Because she had grown up as she did she did not have to go through so much training and the brotherhood welcomed her in with open arms.

Other: She carried around heaps of weapons and hides them well. She prefers her bow and arrow and her hidden daggers situated on her wrists instead of her sword but she uses that when she has too. She prefers to attack from afar and then get closer if needed. She is fluent in many languages too and is well educated for someone from such a background
