Thank you, John, that's really kind of you to say. And I hope the book stands up to a second reading! I enjoyed your questions and am so glad you took part in this.

Lisa | 9 comments I agree with John and LE will remain on my shelf for future rereads. I look forward to your next book Tatjana. Thank you for taking time for this discussion :)

Elizabeth La Lettrice (elizabethlalettrice) | 2 comments I, as well, look forward to your next book! Have anything in the works yet?

Tatjana Soli (tatjanasoli) | 30 comments You all are so kind. It's been a pleasure this week.

As far as new work, I am working on final edits now on novel #2, which will be coming out in 2012. It's a very different book than Lotus Eaters, but many of the same themes run through it.

It's about a woman who is running a large citrus farm in contemporary Southern California. I have some photos and a few teaser lines from the book here on my website:

I'll be checking in later today in case anyone has any final thoughts, and I can always be reached through my website.

Thanks again, everyone!

I like to joke that it's about two dangerous women, oranges, and a little voudou thrown in. Seriously the new book deals with power/powerlessness, racism, dislocation — many of the same issues that were in Lotus Eaters.

Elizabeth La Lettrice (elizabethlalettrice) | 2 comments Hi All -

I thought you might be interested - I added Tatjana's new book on GR so that you can add it on your TBR lists. I also submitted the first review if you want to see my thoughts! It was beautiful and touching just like her first! It comes out in September so I highly recommend looking out for it. :)

Lisa | 9 comments Thanks Elizabeth for that heads-up! I just added it to my TBR list now too :D Lucky you for getting to read it already! I just finished reading your wonderful review and I can't wait to read The Forgetting Tree by Tatjana Soli
