A US theocracy worries the hell out of me; i can only imagine how that must be multiplied living there! I really can't help picturing it in terms of [bookThe Handmaid's Tale]! I was so proud of you guys when you elected Obama, a bounceback to ultra conservatism would be terrible.

In a way I hope Palin wins the Republican nomination; there is so much ammunition to be used against her I'd hope she couldn't possibly win - the fact that she's twice quit public jobs and her general Dan Quayle-ness (ok, it didn't harm Dubya).

Have you any idea what percentage of American Christians belong to these Dominionist groups? Their aims sound much like the minority of fundamentalist Muslims who want to bring in Sharia Law everywhere.
