Hi Bob!!
I prefer that when you are requesting reviewers to review your book, that you put a summary of your book in the request as well as a link to the book. That way all of the members have a way to completely check out the book.
The authors in the group thus far have all been generous enough to offer their book to our reviewers free of charge. I know all of the reviewers have been honest and fair with their reviews. You have come to a great place to have your book read and reviewed!! :)
As far as the file types, I don't have any suggestions for that, some people take PDF files some may not like that option. It just depends on the reviewer. You may want to specify ahead of time if you are only able to provide the book in PDF format. I hope that answers all of your questions, and if you have anymore, please, feel free to ask!! :)

There is also a youtube video:

This is set in 2015 and China invades the United States through Mexico. Fast paced!
Anyone interested?
If we are to send the reviewer the work directly rather than using a third party service like Smashwords, is there a preferred file type? I prefer to send PDF files. Is there a better option?
FWIW I believe a reviewer should not have to pay for a book. If, in the reviewer's honest opinion, the book is not good, the reviewer has an obligation to say so in spite of their having been given the book at no charge.
Thanks
