I just finished reading the complete works of Sherlock Holmes. Even though I have read through all the SH stories many times, I still find myself intrigued by the plot and thrilled by the dramatic conclusion. The writing is superb and I actually was just discussing with my sisters the exact meaning of "scintillating" before looking it up. There are many superb quotes and I think I shall never cease to enjoy them.
Post below what books you have finished recently and what you though of them. Would you recommend them, etc.

Cassandra Noelle (cassandra_noelle) | 7 comments I just finished reading Barron's EZ- 101 Study Keys for English Literature. I enjoyed it immensely because it allowed me to pass my CLEP yesterday... Maybe now it's time to take a break and read a non-school book...

I'm reading Ducan's War by Douglas Bond for the first time. It is very good. I would highly recommend all of his book to anyone (of any age) who has not read them.

I read this book and the rest of the series and really enjoyed it! I love the vivid descriptions of the Scottish countryside during this era! :) I

Same here...that book was great. I'm on a Sherlock Holmes marathon now, though I'm trying not to finish them all too quickly! I have The Complete Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle , with 4 novels & 56 stories.

Joshua Shank | 3 comments Just put down Seth Godin's all marketers are liars. He's got some amazing insight! Though I disagree with some of the social positions he takes, the revelation that the stories told to certain groups of people are what make a great product sell, not old-fashioned advertising.
