Keith this book has 2 things about it, 1 it mentions how America is turning bad ,2 its based on my favorite game of all time

Michael It might be based on Bioshock but it's nowhere near as good as Bioshock was. I found it a bit of a let down. Also, it's not so much about how America was turning bad. The fact ended up being that Ryan just wanted to be the ruler of a place where he could rule with an iron fist. He wanted to be a dictator, despite what he may claim. He can say he's all about freedom and whatnot, but just look at what he does. Leaving people in poverty, killing Fontaine for being successful?

C.E. Crowder I've never played the game but was drawn to the premise: an Ayn Rand underwater utopia's rise and fall? Count me in!

Could have been much better had it restricted the focus to Bill and Fontaine, didn't need two cents from anybody else.

Don't have to play the game to enjoy this book, before or after; as a utopian tragedy the story is complete.

Erin Pallott I loved the first two games. I, to some extent, agree with Ryan's original ideas. I don't really rate this as a book, instead I look at it as added information. It's more of an explanation than a description of the story before the games. I think he did pretty well.
