Yeah, my e-mail almost gave up when I got a big e-mail of friend's updates before. (I think that's what I had marked in any case...) Always freezing for minutes if I opened the mail. So I would never do the Email All option. But I definitely like the Notification Only one. Some groups I want updates for in e-mail, but all groups can be overwhelming at times, since I usually use the Individual Email option. So groups I like to check, but when I have the time, the notification option would be nice. :)
LOL! Thanks for the warning, Bex (did I remember correctly?) I figured that would be a massive amount for some. Definitely not one I'd use. :)

If you click on "email me when people reply" (see below comment box), your options used to digest, individual, none. Then, they added "notification only", which is viewable on your profile page.
Now, the options are:
Follow This Discussion
Get updates when people comment.
Digest - Get new comments bundled in a daily or weekly email (the frequency is configured on the 'my account' page).
Individual Email - Get an email instantly when someone comments. You will not get a second notification email until you've visited the discussion again.
Email All - Get an email instantly when someone comments. You will continue to get emails on this thread even after you've visited the discussion.
Notification Only - No emails. Get a notification on your homepage on when people reply.
None - Do not get notified when people reply.
Now, I like to view every post within my groups. Just to see what's what, make sure we're all makin' .... well, ya get the picture. Anyway, I think the "Email All option would be quite a load on your in-box. But, that's just me.
