Is Jeopardy Getting Easier?

I admit that one of the reasons I stopped watching Jeopardy - perhaps the main one - is that it was just too hard. Entire games would go by and I wouldn't get more than two or three answers correct. It's a great, fast-paced game but I was just out of my depth.

And then I started watching it again a few weeks ago, due to a schedule change. I happened by and got into it.

And I KILLED. I got only a couple of questions wrong. Maybe it was some sort of special week for us slower folk. But no. Every night I tune in and I do extremely well.

Is it getting easier? Are they dumbing it down for ratings? Or am I just on a lucky streak? Certainly I'm not getting smarter.

No, they definitely were not teens. But now that I think of it, they weren't rocket scientists either. They were adults.

One or two shows, I'd buy that theory, but it's been weeks. They've got to be dumbing it down.

I'm with Phil, the show's not easier, you're smarter.

I go hot and cold on Jeopardy. Either I'm on fire, nailing every category, or I totally suck.

Maybe they're recycling answers, and I just remember the questions.
