Dear Yvonne's new friend is eighteen-year-old Cerise Lyon-Beaumont, who accompanied her little sister Josephine to the asylum because of how utterly fragile and in need of personal support she is (it's similar to how Silas was a rock for Cat, minus the dysfunctionality and adding some additional love and care). Cerise is blind and has chronic migraines, but other than that, doesn't really have a reason (mental-health wise) for being here; all the same, she's unendingly sassy and sharp and has a extremely wry sense of humor--and very low bullshit quotient--that I believe will suit Yvonne, and several other of our lovely characters.
