Me: Nothing too extreme. Just a lot of yelling and screaming. He wouldn't hurt anyone, if that's what you're getting at. No, there would probably just be an RP between him and Anna and like everyone can yell and it'll be "enjoyable". For us, at least.

Me: I mean if you're not down that's okay. Raven is your character after all, and he's going through this whole reformation thing.
Me: ...What if he were the one to try to break to Anna that Raven has a lot more problems than he's letting on? :O

Me: It wouldn't really be "breaking it to her" it would be more of a "your fucking sicko brother has fucked with the wrong person and everyone just let's it slide all the time but I'm not fucking standing for this anymore."
Basically, he would NOT be letting her down gently xD But that works!

Me: Well, I don't want this to turn into a screaming match, so maybe not. That's rather undramatic. XD

Me: I'm not quite sure, but the situation between the four is already rocky as it is--hence why I established that this would not be the breakdown which sends Raven back into normal (or depressed, depending on what he does) territory. If you ask me, we keep injuries and vengeance schemes minimal and think of a different way for Raven to lose it. You've already suggested Rosalind, I've had a (not necessarily necessary) scenario with Jacob in my head for months, and Sera's even offered up Kati. I'm sure we'll find another way. XD

Me: I will indeed. It depends on whether or not we would take that RP to bring Raven back to "normal".
Me: What would it do otherwise? If it happens before that, surely nothing good can result of it?

Annie, Have no fear of perfection-- you'll never reach it.

Me: That's what I was thinking. So it almost has to be that, or happen after. And it could very easily be that.

Me: I am about to give posts. Just for my own sanity: Jason/Morgan, Lenore/Elin, Phoenix/Weiss, Jacob/Aspen, Alys/Rosalind, correct? Would you like any of them anywhere specific?
Me: Exactly. My only worry is the way it might turn out. Given Rosalind's penchant for trying to flirt/seduce her way out of harmful situations, the promise she made him some time ago, and Raven's loneliness as he tries to seclude himself from people he cares about...I can very clearly see it turning into a fling. That would spell utter disaster when Silvy (and by extension, Rosemarie) returns, not to mention that the both of them may feel awful afterwards, depending on the situation.

Annie, Have no fear of perfection-- you'll never reach it.
(new)
Me: Is utter disaster a problem, however? It may be my own penchant for drama speaking, but I feel as if that could be an interesting twist to this little storyline.
Me: Make no mistake, it certainly would, but frankly I love Ravemarie too much to just tear it apart like that. XD
Not to mention that an act of infidelity really would weigh heavily on Raven's conscience. His loyalty to his lover is one of his only traits that has not been called into question lately, and if he were to lose that too, it could spell out worse things than an angry breakup.

Me: Have you ever considered what would happen if Morgan were to do something to him? She has her knife. She has her hardened(ish) conscience and a heightened sense of self-preservation. You've mentioned often that she is of a mental capacity that far exceeds others in her age group, and have shown it in practice.
What if?

Me: Hello, Thera!
Oh. Oh my. What if indeed. But she adores him. What exactly would drive her to do it?
And, more importantly, how exactly would she know where to "do something" to him? xD

Me: Yo, Thera. Do give us a moment; we're in the midst of plotting. XD
What I am envisioning is a scene wherein Morgan, very put off by what Jason has told her, does in fact take it upon herself to go find Raven and figure out what's wrong and if he's okay. From there, I've thought of two scenarios: a) she finds him with his knife somewhere and he frightens her badly enough that she simply panics and makes a lucky grab for it and he ends up hurt or b) she finally takes her own little knife and goes to find him on the grounds that perhaps, if she takes his mind off of things, he'll start to feel better--and what better way to do that than to try to work in a little father-daughter bonding time? Raven always seemed rather happy when he was teaching her lessons, after all. Maybe if she gives him a chance to do so again, things will turn out okay!
This, as you can imagine, leads to no good place, and again Morgan freaks out and sticks him (accidentally--or maybe on purpose. That could be interesting).
No matter how we go about it, the result is the same, and the combination of whatever he does that frightens Morgan so badly and the wound he suffers after is enough to bring him back around. What do you think?

Me: I like it quite a lot. Either could work, and either would fit into Morgan's character, though I do like the idea of her doing it on purpose; it would lead to some quite interesting things. But I am a huge fan of the entire idea.
Me: You're welcome to that, Thera. XD
All right, then for now let's take Scene B and run with it. If Morgan were to be consciously aware of her decision to stab Raven, how would she go about it? What would be her thought process before, during, and after the event?

Me: All replies are given, Hope my dear. The ball is in your court xD
Hmm. I don't feel as if it would be a premeditated thing. She would bring her knife with the hopes that father-daughter bonding time (as uncomfortable as what this bonding time entails makes her) would fix Raven as Jason told her he was. She would of course initially be a little afraid; she's blind, she's using a knife, and her father is a well known psychopath. She doesn't really know what to expect from him. Of course, then things would happen, and he would do something that scares her awfully, and it wouldn't be so much an accident, but a spur-of-the-moment decision, almost as if she thought she was in danger, though she knows he would never intentionally hurt her. It would happen, she would realize what she did, and she would run. Probably, she would go into the girl's showers, not caring who was in there (to make it interesting, perhaps Anna is in there?), she would clean up because she knows what blood feels like but she doesn't know where it is, and then she would go back to her room and lock the door and hide. She would hide from Raven because she's afraid he'll be angry, no, furious, and he'll try and come after her, and she'll be hiding from her nurse, and basically everyone. She doesn't know what happens to those sorts of people when they do something like that, and so she'll have the worst ideas in her head about what's going to happen. She'll worry and worry and worry and who knows how long it will be, but eventually, someone will probably have to come and talk her out of it. She'll have done it on purpose, as a spur-of-the-moment, "oh shit wait he might hurt me i need to get out of this" kind of thing, but afterwards it will scare her to death and she'll regret ever doing it.
At least, that's what I think Morgan would do. Who knows, really?

Me: Who knows indeed.
Jason: Wait. Wait just one goddamn minute. She's gonna stab the motherfucker and then she's gonna run? Holy fuck, that is a riot! Oh my God. Oh my God that is so great. :D
Phoenix: Herr Turner has a point. She would not worry at all for the damage she has caused Herr Rabe? Stab wounds are dangerous, Fräulein.

Me: Well, first off, how much damage are we talking about her? She's a seven (I think) year old wielding a knife for the first time. I doubt she can do much, though you never know.
And, I mean, that was just a suggestion. Would you prefer her to stay there, freak out, apologize, etc., etc.?
And, I mean, that was just a suggestion. Would you prefer her to stay there, freak out, apologize, etc., etc.?
Me: Panicked, you would be surprised at what people could do. And given the height difference and the split-second Morgan would actually have to even think about aiming, I find it more than plausible that she could bury a blade in his thigh, even his stomach if we want to go worst-case. Either way, there would probably be quite a bit of bleeding, and Raven would be in need of medical attention sooner rather than later. I think the most logical scenario would be Morgan does stay and freak out, and then after a few minutes of that Raven realizes the severity of his situation and he's like, "Morgan, sweetheart, would you do me a favor and go find a nurse? Now, please?"

Me: Oh dear. Well, since we are not going to have Raven lose it particularly, he can just scare her, threaten her, etc, etc. Samuel will still be angry, but not as much, and much calmer.
Me: Perhaps they'll only have a chat. Of course, Raven will be massacring a rabbit the whole time, but as long as Melanie doesn't scream or vomit or turn and run, who knows? That might be all it ends up becoming.

Me: Alright, so after we finish up Melanie and Raven, I feel the need to send Samuel to do something. It can be self destructive, so that no one else is really involved, but he isn't just going to do nothing. Possibly after I decide what happens (worst case scenario is he just goes out and gets super drunk and maybe punches a wall or a mirror or something) he could run into, like, Erin? Either of the Adair's would taunt him about it, which would not bode well.
And if not, that's fine! 'tis just an idea.
