I worry that Lenore's reaction may have come off as a little spontaneous, so I will explain here what will be further noted in her personality and history: due to the nature of her visual and auditory hallucinations, she is a very, very volatile girl. Her feelings often catch hold of her and control her for brief periods of time; it's almost enough to be categorized as another symptom of her madness, as inappropriate or over-exaggerated emotional response to stimuli. I just want to clarify that she does not have anger management issues or anything like that; it's just an aspect of her personality and mind which has been strongly nurtured by her quasi-schizophrenic mental condition.
