Me: So I literally had a continuation of Felix's dream in my head after I fell into that weird semi-sleeping state. He and Ruby walk off together into this whiteness, and as they come to a certain point the world literally begins to rot and demons jump out of a giant fissure that splits the ground in two and start trying to drag Felix back with them. Ruby is screaming and crying but some thing grabs her and throws her and she literally goes up in flames and I'm pretty sure the demons tear Felix a new one trying to get him to that fissure. I couldn't tell, because the rotting darkness was making everything all shadowy, but it looked like he was getting mauled--skin shredding and everything--and I'm pretty sure he lost an eye.

Carlos: Woah, calm down there, Satan.

Me: I'm Satan now?

Raven: Oh yes.

Me: Well! I wasn't aware of that.

So I'm thinking about putting Raven into mental as well as physical torment, just for kicks. Maybe give him more (and worse) nightmares which cause a psychological breakdown. Me: No he's not. It's hard for me to write physical pain because it always makes my characters sound like whiny, undeserving sissies. Mental pain, though, I am exquisitely good at.
