Me: Btw I think the boy is simply going to be traumatized and maybe have ptsd and anxiety. He could have caused the fire that hurt her/ caused her problems to start, and then he felt so terrible about it he did something to himself that I'm not sure of yet, and then he had a lot of nightmares about her dying and so some ptsd stuff in there. Big fear of fire.

Me: I owe you guys the biggest apology ever. I don't know what happened. I guess I sort of forgot. I used to spend hours on this site. It was my school, sanctuary, therapy and most of all it was where all my friends resided. I also owe you an explanation. I'm actually younger than I've always claimed. I was always afraid you wouldn't respect me if you knew you were talking to a twelve-year old. I really believe that wouldn't have been the case. Now I'm in eighth grade, and actually doing pretty well. I went through some rough spots but who doesn't? This place taught me so much, literary and life skills. I feel horribly about all this but I feel like my characters are faded and the connection is dull. We have new people with fresh ideas and passion coming into goodreads. The original gang has been added to, some- no- most have left and been replaced by fresh faces. I'm afraid our beloved site has become victim to a horrible epidemic of life. I didn't even realize what happened until one day I thought to myself: when was the last time I have been on goodreads? Then I realized it was probably over half a year ago. Half a year. Last year I couldn't go a week without logging on and checking up on the latest drama in our little private soap operas. I apologize for deserting you guys like that. I hope I can log on more often. I don't think, though, that my old plots can be renewed. I think I might start fresh, but this time I won't be as obsessive. It's good to have a support group, but you also have to face real life. I used goodreads as an escape when I was younger, somewhere that didn't have the stress of life and had cool people. But I became dependent upon it. It was my crutch. I enjoy goodreads, but I also have to learn to live life without a crutch. So if I do start again, it will have to be a hobby, not a lifestyle.

Other than that, I'm glad to see that this group is somewhat active and that all of you have stayed loyal even when I have become such a twat.
