Me: I think that you have to go down to the office and tell them that nothing's going on. Plus, they really just have to take your word for it. It's just a rumor that got started and miscommunication, all in all, and if Becker is freaking out about it, them that's his problem. Have you talked to your parents yet about all this? Where do they stand? Because its their responsibility to take care of you and they should always believe you. If they are against you, too, then you might wanna talk to a guidance counselor or someone like that because they will be able to vouch for you. Stuff like this really annoys me, because honestly, it's just the fact that adults almost always think the worse of us teens. Not that I really count. But they never come to us about a rumor, they never give us the benefit of the doubt. So were all horrible people who need to grow up to understand things.

Me: My parents don't know because like a month ago Zack an I were talking (sneaking out of class together for a couple minutes and kissing and whatever) but it really wasn't anything more. We didn't have sex anyways, I obviously wouldn't ever do that with a senior. Then we stopped talking because too many people thought we were dating. Now Becker made an assumption out of nothing and started a rumor. The guidance clincher already has a problem with me because of stupid rumors and such last year that went on with me. I fear that if I go down to the office by myself and say nothing's going on, they'll assume I'm just trying to cover my ass. I suppose there's nothing else I can do, I just wish I didn't have to go alone because my friend now doesn't want anything to do with me because a teacher made up a rumor and didn't come to either of us about it first.

Me: my neighbor's are exactly like that, except the entire family is messed up. The oldest boy told me he would kill me, the oldest girl tried to bully mean when I was nine (she was fifteen), the other girl is in my grade, and she tried to steal my best friend, then their youngest has severe anger issues and learning disabilities, etc. that his family refuses to address. Plus their first initials are J,M,J,M. O.o
