I have always thought that the Great Mall of the Great Plains seemed like a great place to hide out from the undead.

Lillian | 29 comments AH! the mall would be a great place!

Michael | 8 comments Either the Mall, for food ONLY, or Cabella's, for guns. Everybody needs guns for a zombie outbreak.

Jaime Hay (jaimehay) | 17 comments Some fast food place after all...zombies hate fast food! ;) (that was a joke, in case you didn't catch it!)

Ha ha!!! That is awesome!

Jia | 40 comments Or maybe the Kansas City Library, Nelson, or Union Station or something. Zombies eat brains, they don't have them. Or maybe they do. Or? I have no idea.

message 7: by McKinzey (new)

McKinzey (mckmanes) | 7 comments Well, it would be smart to keep on the move, because if you stay in one place then you will eventually be cornered by the zombies. While on the run I would try to stick to Walmarts. Except, only the walmarts licensed to carry guns. In fact, I think that the survival of the human race in the event of a zombie apocalypse will be Walmarts's most valuable role for humanity.

Jia | 40 comments That's true. I'd also be in Sam's Club. :D

message 9: by Sydney (new)

Sydney | 32 comments I would probably hide in The Nelson Atkins Museum because of it's large size, and many crevices to provide protection.

message 11: by Jia (new)

Jia | 40 comments I dunno, I'd probably be the one with the backpack full of stuff going from place to place. Or in the car driving everywhere.

Jia | 40 comments You could always fly your way out, but then you'd probably crash and kill yourself. :/ Most people would be flying to NASA and going to the moon! x)

Jia | 40 comments I asked my friends this question, they had different answers. Some didn't answer. :/

One said that she'd raid Bass Pro and Dick's Sporting. Go to Sam's Club and stock up on supplies. Then, she'd round up as many people as possible. This conversation turned into a plan to start an army and a class on how to shoot guns. :D

Most of my friends said nothing as two of my friends started jabbering about Call of Duty.

That's how that went.

Rachel (rhare15) | 6 comments I think the mall would be good cause you can aquire a disguise and use all the perfume because I know I would die from too much. Then you have a candle store which, matches = fire. then theres so many places you can hide plus theres food.

message 21: by Emily (new)

Emily Brzon | 3 comments Well me and my best friend Emery have this all worked out. Let me start by saying that I am a huge zombie fan. My favorite TV show is AMC's The Walking Dead, I've also read the Walking Dead comic books. I've read the Forest of Hands and Teeth and Dead tossed waves, but I didn't like Gabry so I didn't read the Dark and Hallow places about her sister. I've read Max Brook's Zombie Survival Guide as well as World War Z. Just look at my profile picture its me and a zombie finger puppet. My middle name on facebook is zombie survivalist. I have made all my friends aware of the CDC's zombie awareness page. And I've put a lot of thought into this with my friend Emery but we have a plan, and we've consulted the Zombie survival guide about it so here it is.

Emery and I will wait out in our homes until one month after outbreak (to avoid people who try to escape and their ignorance and panic) Then we will meet up at our top secret rondevious spot. The start our waydown the Missouri River. We will be armed with AK47, machete, and crossbows. Once we reach the Gulf of Mexico we'll make our way to an oil rig (the one we have in mind is top secret) and we will live there. Why an oil rig you may ask? Well think about it People live on oil rigs now as it is! They have bunks, some have libraries, medical supplies! They have there own water distillaries so we have good water and the ocean has an abundant supply of fish! Both are dads are engineers and my dad actually works in building oil rigs and power plants, so if we can use it to get oil without blowing up that would be pretty cool too.... but we wont depend on it. Also I would make sure I wouldn't go on a zombie killing spree. If you get cocky like that then they'll get you. You kill to survive don't waste your amo or draw them in with sound use silencers and always aim for the head.

So yeah, making up this plan has been pretty entertaining.
