AlbertaJenn and I are doing a buddy read of Pamela Clare's Surrender. Of course, anyone is welcome to join. Feel free to post questions/comments/impressions as you read.

I'm still at the beginning and all I can think about is this book: The Sovereignty and Goodness of God: with Related Documents. I'm having major flashbacks to my early American women's lit class. It's such an unusual setting for a romance novel. I think it works though.
Hey, sorry about the no-communication, Mandy! I just started the book (am literally about 5% through). Pretty good so far. Only just the opener, though. I`ll let you know when I have gotten a little more into the plot.
I'm not sure why, but I am having a tough time reading lately. It's not the book, it's just that I'm not in the right reading mood, I guess. I'm only 13% done the ebook. I'm still trouping away at it, though. So far, so good.
That's fine. It's really no big deal. I'm the kind of freak that generally reads a book in one or two sittings. I don't expect everyone else to read the same way.
Usually I'm that type as well. I just haven't had that interest to read so much lately. I think I may just be tired or something. One thing I have noted in the bit that I have read; as a Canadian, living in a country with both English and French influences, we usually don't see one side or the other as the villans or "bad." so it is an insight to read a book where one side is very much seen as the bad guys.
