Christoph Is it a violation of copyright to put say the foreward or preface or even "critical acclaim" section as the description here on good reads?

Christoph Fair enough. Discogs.com does not allow such statements so that is where I got the idea from. And I assume since there was no IANAL in your comment you know what yr talking about!

Lobstergirl It's more like I judged the description you posted to be very similar to the type of copy that would be on the book jacket, and that's the type of copy that routinely appears in descriptions on Goodreads.
