I think he's an idiot that feeds and relishes on weaker women. 

Being a woman in love does not mean wearing a mask all the time. A relationship should never become a masquerade ball guide with a step-by-step handbook where a woman has to always study, and remain afraid of revealing she's a woman at all or even a human with emotions. 

His literary work was not created to catch her the perfect man; it was created, to capture and attempt too hold, a man-boy!

They are two, entirely, different minds, souls, and species.
