Ralph McEwen | 40 comments The Search shows a first pub. date of 1900. I don't think so. :)

Nenangs | 464 comments it's because one of its edition (autoupload from amazon, btw) record the publication date as 1900.

i don't think it's correct, but i don't have the data to change it to the proper publication date.

eta: no data of publication date of that particular edition in amazon. or at least i can't find one.

Lobstergirl It was first published in 2000. I deleted that edition as it was a duplicate of another hardcover.

Ralph McEwen | 40 comments Sorry I should have included it. I have the book. It say the hard cover edition was published June 2000. 2000 is the copyright date also

Nenangs | 464 comments @lobstergirl,
i see that the isbn 10 in amazon data was connected to the hardcover edition (complete with isbn 13 too), but that book has an ASIN (for ebook? or?). i thought that amazon will autouploaded the book because of it's asin if deleted. but we'll see. :)

Lobstergirl The edition that was imported with the pub date of 1900 has an ISBN-10 and an ASIN. I deleted it; because the ISBN-10 will override an ASIN, it won't be reimported. (I tried it - ASIN B00006G9KQ, search comes up empty.)

Nenangs | 464 comments re-check for autoupload:

I think NABed is the way for these kind of entry. but need to agreed between librarians and written rules be made?

message 9: by Ralph (new)

Ralph McEwen | 40 comments I just saw this book on my READ list and the date has returned to 1900. :(
