Just wondering what others' thoughts were on this book. Same guy who wrote Let the Right One In. This is far from your typical zombie story, and so I think it may be polarizing in the zombie fandom. More of a focus on how people react to the return of loved ones. There were multiple character arcs, and while there were one or two I didn't really care for I enjoyed the majority of them. And although there weren't waves of the undead attacking chapter after chapter, there still were a couple moments of true creepy spooks (the island scene especially comes to mind).
I enjoyed this story because it was different. I kind of equated it with Pet Semetary by Stephen King. Handling the loss of a loved one, and what you might go thru to bring them back.

So, anyone else read this? What did you think?
