This month we are gearing up for our 'One World, Many Stories' Program and exploring selections from the country of Japan.

Kitchen
The adult selection is Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto. A collection of three interconnected short stories dealing with love and loss. Whimsical and magical and very touching.

Naruto, #1
For kids we have Naruto vol. 1, the first in a popular manga (japense comic) series about a young ninja in training.
