I went to Amazon and this one is a freebie on Kindle right now. I gather from the reviews on the ratings that it was edited to "soften" the hero, though, so if you're looking for the hard-core BR, I gather the original version is better.
OK, I re-edited my original post to reflect that I have read the original version. Should have made that clear.
I've read sea battle scenes in the past... but NONE that holds a candle to what Canham did here. I wasn't taken in when reading the e-book version...so I'm wondering now, why? Someday I may compare before I trash that one. Possibly that was toned down too in the edited version?I have another seafaring by Canham
(whoa, I have the perfect pic for Morgan on the inside leaf of this cover).Sorry, got sidetracked checking the pub. date and drooling a bit.
Still can't post pics and it's not for lack of trying. So, the hell with it :/
He looks like how Morgan's described. There's not much to Morgan's description anyway - long black hair, white smile, sun-tanned, and tall. IIRC, he has no distinguishing characteristics, like scars, etc.

Nope, Morgan definitely isn't one of the Mole People.

For which I will always feel great guilt and shame. :P

So, anyway....if you come across a romance with battle action, please make a note of it here! I'd love to know what titles are out there.
Anyone else love battle scenes? I know it's not common (or perhaps even wanted) in a romance, but I love them. It puts the characters in a very special situation and it's interesting to see how they comport themselves.
