What HQNs are you reading right now?

Anyway, got two HP's today:

I also got

I've already started the Sarah Morgan.
Now, I just have to say that the M&B cover for Melanie Millburne's book is plain SCARY! That woman looks like she is anorexic! Also, the hair? She has an Egyptian sphinx look about her. And he looks extremely "cruel". Mmmm. Will report back.

and I had a run on Chantelle Shaw. I find I really like her books

Lynn Raye Harris is becoming on of my favourite authors.

No! That was my first and only, too. But I think that

It truly is a wonderful read. I wanted to smack Reid a few times...but that's HP land.

Yeah! Especially in the first half.

Just thought I'd come by and say "hi". I'm in a bit of an HP slump at the moment. I know I should expand my horizons and start reading some other authors, but I'm not enjoying them as I had hoped (Robyn Donald being one). I think I should just take a break.
The Dark side of Desire by Julia James had so much angst in it! Just made me tired. I haven't even started In Defiance of Duty by Caitlin Crews!
O, well ....... See you guys. I do read all your reviews though!

I think that you should try some HP's from the early 90's. They are pretty good with a lot of drama and conflict.

I don't know if the hero grovels a lot, but I loved Jane in
Mistress of the Groom. She was tough and she didn't let the hero get away with much. I think they were a good match, at any rate.

Now I know why some of you stick to the older classic ones. Wow.

I find the classics books have a lot better angsty storylines. I'm tempted to do some rereading!

I just finished that one and really liked it. Agreed great debut book.
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "Tracie, I love that book!"
It was the first book I read by her. I'm definitely going back to read some of her backlist.

Interesting that this is the first time that there is a reference to the heroine masturbating .... and she's a virgin to boot! High time.
I give it a 5.

I just started reading that book! Im not one for secret baby stories, but for some reason the history behind the two interests me.

Just finished and highly recommend the following

the older ones are just better (for me)!

Great story. She rarely disappoints.

Leona, I will have to go check that Melanie Millburne again, BUT .........
I just finished

and o, my goodness, what is going on in the HP universe? This is the most graphic Mills & Boon I have read - ever! I was shocked I tell you, shocked .... but in a good way. Very brave of Lucy Monroe.
I sent Lynn Raye Harris a message on Facebook about Unnoticed and Untouched and she said "thank you" for the praise and it was about time it got mentioned.
Btw, my American HP friends, you guys really have to do something about Harlequin's terrible book covers - really!

I've started with

Looks very interesting.
O yes, check out the interesting book cover.

On my "to read" list I also have Lynne Graham's new one, The Secret She Carried and Maisey Yates' A Royal World Apart.

I'll have to check it out, Vashti! Thanks.

The two books are In Christofides' Keeping and The Restless Billionaire. The emotional punch of these two books - wow. Off the charts.
Abby Green fleshes out her H/h to such an extent that you feel like you know them personally. She draws you in and the emotion she conveys is fantastic.
I absolutely loved these two books and I've still got to be disappointed by anything she writes. They are keepers!

3 really good ones in a row. Let's hope I can keep it up.

I just bought LM's

So looking forward to it!

Loved it. I'm not reading this as a series though. I don't like all the authors.
Loved the H/h. Maisey Yates really fleshes out her characters. They have layers to them.
I've started

Looks good.

I liked that one, too! I've read a couple of debut Harlequins from new authors recently, and they were all pretty good -- this one included.
