hi I am kinda lurking because I have been doing a lot of researching and not a lot of reading for fun......what reading I am able to do is to my grandchildren. I hope it doesn't insult anyone.
Hi, Shirley. Don't worry about it. :) You haven't insulted anyone, and lurking is perfectly okay. The rules were changed mainly because of people spamming multiple groups and reviewing with sockpuppet accounts. :)
Everyone, I've added descriptions of the folders to the Rule post above, so if you've got any questions, check that out first! I've also added a new folder, Totally Off Topic. This is the anything goes folder, where you can talk about your life, your pets, anything that doesn't have to do with PNR or even reading.

Hello im very new and have been writing for a while but reading even longer :) don't know if I'm in the right place to introduce myself but it's great to see that mothers ,grandmothers and women (and men) who aren't teens are also reading and writing what I love !
I always try to be respectful of the rules and will continue to do so. I noticed Corbin's tone, the way he called himself an Author with a capital A and so on, and I'm glad he's gone.I suppose the funny thing in my case is that "Dear Miss Landau" is an autobiographical, true-life novel with a vampire in it, and the events described within were some of the biggest things that ever happened to me in my life. Naturally, I'd also like people to read it, but I could make the mistake of talking about things which actually happened to me (having a vampire flatmate, metaphorically stealing the Enterprise, meeting the Hollywood star etc.) and almost accidentally self-promote anyway... Tricky, and I am aware of it. I'll try not to overstep the boundaries.
