Finally....I started it yesterday!!! So far so good. I am only on the second chapter but I will say that the first chapter def has me intrigued. It is really different for the heroine of a paranormal book to be so prim and proper instead of bad a$$.
I agree the heroine is a nice change from the norm. I am about half way through the book now, I am really enjoying it and Alexia is a really fun character. I love the dialogue in this book, it is fun and quirky.
Hey Laura, how are you getting on with the book? I finished it on Friday and gave it 5 stars, it was such an enjoyable book. I love Alexia, she is so funny and the story kept me interested. It's a real change from most paranormal novels because it is so prim and proper.
Pollyanna, I just now finished Soulless. It took me forever to get it finished but that does not reflect on how much I enjoyed the book. I did have a little trouble with the first few chapters because it was slow starting. I pushed on through and then it turned around when the relationship started developing with Lord Maccon. I was amuzed by the way they interacted with each other. Alexia is a strong character but sweet and vulnerable at the same time....I like her. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I really loved the story and will continue with the series. Lord Maccon is definitely suited to Alexia, I am interested to see how their relationship progresses.
